The floor to ceiling AC intake and constantly loud blowing register, 3 feet from the head of the bed ensured I received hardly any sleep. Even with the ac is switched off, the register still blows air. I can't upload a sound file here, but this is aircraft hanger wind tunnel loud. Insane. When I mentioned this to the front desk, their explanation was that building and HVAC system is really old. Virgin - I can't sleep in your trendy lobby - invest less in this and overhaul your HVAC system. Fortunately this was a one night stay with 80 decibel noise. I do not recommend staying here. You have to stay there to understand how nice this hotel is. The phone app is the best part of the experience if you’re a tech savvy person and into automation. The only takeaway from this hotel is the tiny rooftop pool. The view is great but the pool is very small.

Book here you will love it. If you have little ones they would be so entertained with the library. It’s also close to everything not far to walk to any attractions, stores or food
Image of the Tripadvisor rating Food sucked. Blood or pee stain on our bed sheets. Hotel looks nice but wouldn’t stay again.

You can read the full review on my FB page called “Ben Has Too Much Time On His Hands”. Basically 2 million readers a month learn about where to eat and stay. This is not a place I’d recommend to stay. Our clean bedsheets got changed for one with a massive blood or urine stain on it. Front desk gave us a $100 food credit for the blood/piss stain.… Read more

This is not a place I’d recommend to stay. Our clean bedsheets got changed for one with a massive blood or urine stain on it. Front desk gave us a $100 food credit for the blood/piss stain. We ordered room service and had to trow it all out. Meatballs were rotten and way past expired. Daughter even got sick from it. Burger was so dry it could have been used for skeet shooting. Bread pudding was beyond thin and flat and it was topped with what smelled like Mr. Clean. In a place like New Orleans, they really should have great food. Read less
