We stayed in a room with a partial view of the ocean and were pleasantly surprised how this room was modern and beautiful. You can save a lot of money: hotelsdeals.ga The partial view of the ocean was not just a glimpse, but basically the ocean. Despite our room

Spent a week at the Hyatt in Lahiana - was very impressed. Grounds are top notch - lots of greenery, a nice garden with several varieties of small and large birds, lots of various forms of Asian art, shops, some restaurants, several pools and access to the beach. Staff is very friendly and attentive (very prompt with cleaning the rooms and addressing tasks), nothing but excellent marks for them. Concierge was very helpful for arranging some of our activities (i.e. volcano biking tour). Location wise, this hotel is within the center of the primary resorts (Westin, Marriott, Sheraton, etc...) and a shopping mall - so the area is very busy and active, and likely not the best place to go if you're looking for peace and quiet. There is a nice paved sidewalk that goes along the entire bay/beach, connecting everything. Additionally, the hotel itself is only a few minutes drive from Front Street in Lahaina and about 20-30 minutes from some scenic locations to the north. Rooms were above average - decently spaced, comfortable bathroom, comfortable beds and a small balcony attached. Free wifi with the room. Overall, this was a very nice hotel that fit well with what we were looking for while on Maui - would happily go there again. Read less

I had the most expensive breakfast in my life one morning, but it came with a great view of a small pond with swans, among other water foul, and a waterfall. There is a great pool and a great beach. The ocean view rooms are nothing special but the view is. All of the restaurants are good and the best values are the happy hours at each. There is a wonderful boardwalk that takes you to many other restaurants along the beach. The landscaping and grounds are spectacular as is the hotel lobby. Read less

The resort is beautiful and the staff was very friendly. We had a great time during our trip to Maui. The kids (and the adults) had such a fun time walking to the beach and enjoying the wonderful pool and its water slide.
