Excellent staff and comfortable rooms. It's really nice to have a nightly wine reception and two restaurants on site, both a coffee shop with light fare and restaurant with full bar. I've stayed several times now and will again.

My stay at this location was phenomenal. The rooms are clean and well kept. I was greated by an amazing staff member named Alison who helped me get situated and made sure I was comfortable.I will forever be grateful. Keep up the great work.

Clean hotel. Staff responsive. Everything worked but one lamp and I didn’t bother to ask for replacement, I’m sure they would have brought one. They didn’t have change for a $20 bill which was frustrating. ( I needed the change to tip housekeeping.) I had to go next door and buy a cup of tea. They didn’t have change for a $20 bill which was frustrating. ( I needed the change to tip housekeeping.) I had to go next door and buy a cup of tea. Basic room is small but not smaller than Microtel or some others. Nice elevator. There are steps to the elevator therefore it is not accessible independently, they do however provide a person to carry your bags. I’m not sure if wheelchair users can use this hotel. All in all a good price and absolutely a fine place to stay. Read less

Spartan room. No curtains, desk, chair, dresser, or decorations. Two friends traveling together so at least there were two luggage racks, but little space to hang clothes. Good for a short, two night stay. All of the pillows on the bed were super firm, Second morning, someone knocked and tried to enter around when we were still in bed. Bathroom miniscule, and no rack to hang wet towels on the wall, though there was space to add one.. The bathtub didn't drain properly so while showering, I stood in a pool of water. Friendly guy at front desk. He recommended the Crab Pot, and we were very disappointed. (Zero ambiance (a roll of paper towels for napkins). Complimentary wine reception a nice touch. The area is hilly, so be prepared for that. Walking distance to Pike's Market, and a steep 3 block uphill walk upon your return. (Recommend seeing the public library across the street; magnificent architecture.) They do include a clock with charger outlets, a coffee pot for those drinking black coffee, iron, bottles of water. Noise from street/other guests wasn't a problem. Read less

Room 401. Although this is stated a mini room was impressed with the size. Coffee/Tea making machine, but no fresh milk. Good rain head in shower. Location was a pleasant walk into main centre, and 15 mins., easy walk to Pike Markets. Plenty of eateries nearby. Would stay again.
