The Arctic Club Seattle - a Double Tree by Hilton Hotel

Seattle, Seattle & Washington State

The hotel

Taking you back to the glory days that followed the Klondike gold rush, The Arctic Club Seattle’s lobby sets the tone at this DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel. The refined club feel continues as you play pool in the cosy wood-panelled Polar Bar and dine on North American favourites in the intimate booths of JUNO. More contemporary in style, the fitness room has people-watching views over the sidewalk, while your guestroom offers Seattle’s modern-day ‘gold’ — Starbucks coffee. The location unites historic and contemporary Seattle too — putting you within walking distance of Pike Place Market and Pioneer Square, and steps from the light railway network. As soon as you're welcomed with a warm chocolate chip cookie, you'll know you're in good hands.

Jessica at the front desk was great! She got us checked in early and was super helpful with giving us tips of the area. Mark the night auditor was also very nice and let my boyfriend and I take a peak at the beautiful ball room they have. These employees made our stay amazing! It was a private gentleman's club for successful veterans of the Klondike Gold rush. Built in 1916 with its colorful facade and walrus cartouches and historically restored. It's in the financial district downtown, close to ferries and Pike street. The service is as old style as the building, warm, friendly and professional. I can't wait to come… Read more

We stayed at the hotel for a night after attending a Mariner's game. The Arctic Bar has delicious cocktails and a great ambience. Our room was nicely decorated, and the bathroom was really cute. The hotel has a lot of historical things displayed, so it's fun to learn more about the history. We also had a delicious breakfast at Juno in the morning.… Read more

Please be cautious and aware of the growing homeless population in downtown Seattle. We made the mistake of walking back to the hotel from T-Mobile field, and we did not feel safe. Will definitely grab an Uber next time. Read less

My husband and I booked this hotel for a pre-cruise stay in Seattle after reading the great reviews here. We were disappointed. While there was nothing really wrong with the place, it was nothing special. Room was small and not very stylish. While there was nothing really wrong with the place, it was nothing special. Room was small and not very stylish. Lots of noise (sirens kept us awake much of the night on Saturday) and homeless people in the neighborhood. On the plus side, breakfast was very good and it is a fairly short walk to the marketplace. Still, I would not stay here again. Read less

Good place to stay in downtown Seattle. 15 mins walk to Pike Market and major restaurants. Staff was friendly and fitness facility was in operation. Lot of historical photos in the hotel gives antique look.
