Beautiful property with very large and private rooms. Very attentive and helpful staff; we really liked the free shuttle service to move around the wine yards. We were here in low season but the pool and gardens looked incredible for those visiting in the summer. Only not so positive point is the breakfast, which was underwhelming for a property of this quality, the staff seemed more interested in getting us out rather than serving us. Overall, I recommend this hotel very highly. Read less

I felt like I'd landed on another planet from the moment I stepped foot into the Le Quartier Francais in Franschhoek. The surroundings, the quality and style of the accommodation, but more importantly, it was the staff who made my stay so memorable. Thank you.

This was was just the perfect place to recuperate and enjoy the wine lands. the mountain views that greets guest each money can't be topped. Not can the attention to detail the staff here provide or the fine dining that is available. Even with the lovely pool, sculpture and flowers all over the place and the fine dining on the property, I often felt like staying in my room and entertaining on the outdoor terrace that transports me to Provence. I'm so looking forward to returning. Read less

If you want a comfortable, spotless, and spacious place to stay after a day spent visiting the vineyards or hiking in the mountains then this place is a great choice. Our room was very, very comfortable. It felt like our own small house. The inner courtyard centered around the pool is like a little oasis, with views of the surrounding mountains. Compared to other places we stayed at the service here is more formal but still very friendly and helpful. The same company operates a microbrewery, Tuk Tuk's, and an Indian restaurant, Marigold's. Both are located across the street from the hotel. We ate at both and the food was excellent and very reasonably priced. Read less

Great service, location and rooms. Well when I say rooms more like a bungalow with everything we could want from fireplace to a great comfortable bed. My personal criteria for hotels is to be worth the money you have to have a better experience than at home and this certainly was.
