This property never disappoints. Everything is fully opened and properly staffed with smiling and welcoming faces. Rooms are serviced everyday and the property is not overly crowded either. Valet is running nicely and are very helpful and attentive.

Sandpearl Resort Clearwater was amazing! Our Girls Trip typically travels International like Jamaica, Mexico, and DR All Inclusive. Due to some restrictions, we stayed in US. We had 6 ladies ranging 40/50's. Our goal was: Beach, pool, dining, place for drinks walkable. BINGO!!! I was looking at the Hilton, Wyndham, Opal Pearl and Hyatt. We loved our location, it wasn't as crowded on the beach or on street. I am a travel advisor. Trying to fine the destination/resort that offers something for all my girls is important. From the beginning with making reservations, emailing the resort, their Concierge Team was super attentive. That is a big plus in my world. Marta in Concierge was terrific. She took the time to answer questions, make notes on my requests for rooms as close as they could get, send dining information. THANK YOU for the bottle of champagne and evening chocolates. Check In: Bellman, open doors, assisted with luggage as we walked to check in. Michael whisked us in smoothly. Debbie offered Mimosas while we took care of paperwork. Rooms ready at 4pm, they stored our bags, we went to lunch. Our 1 bedroom CityView 2 queen Suite (for 3of us) fit the bill! 2 balconies, side view of Gulf, sideview of street. (Suite 765) Full kitchen, so we walked to CVS for drinks, snacks, wine, bottled water. The Resort Fee gives you daily coffee (K-cups), 2 bottles of water, WIFI, pool chairs, beach chairs, towels, local calls. Pool and Beach Service: All fantastic! Loved Rachel and Dylan. (Those are who took care of us) Pool Service was faster than Beach service. Dining On Site: We only ate at Tate's Island Grill. Beachfront, we enjoyed lunch. Shout out to Chevy at Tates Grill (on site Sandpearl), When you arrive, your hungry, hot, he set the tone with lunch and drinks. Clear Sky next to the resort was awesome for breakfast. They serve B, L and D. Blinkers, 1 block down for dinner 1 night, it was OK. Abit high in price and food just ok, service was good, atmosphere more upscale than what we wanted. Frenchy's: If you love seafood! Casual, across the street from hotel. LOVED IT! Pool: larger than most of the hotels in the immediate area. Many families with younger children this time of year. It didn't bother us. Zero entry as well. They do monitor the chairs. If you reserve a chair and it isn't used/has nothing on it for more than an hour, they pull it. A pool attendant will leave a card on your chair advising things will be moved by a certain time. Beach: Wide, sand like powder. Showers as you come off the beach. Plenty of chairs and umbrellas. They do charge for umbrellas. $30.00. Because they have a private section on the beach, no coolers with drinks. In the end, we would absolutely go back. The resort was super clean, and the service we experienced was a 10! Cons: Honestly this is just an observation/suggestion. The Beach Service service is slower than the Pool Service. The servers have to get the orders, walk all the way back to the bar, then wait for the Bartender who is also taking care of the pool service, customers that walk up to the bar. Everyone working hard to get drinks and food out ASAP. Being a former server, having a bartender that only serves your servers would expediate things. Would love a bar on the beach!!! Sandpearl delivered up a wonderful stay. We relaxed, enjoyed, caught up with friends. They looked after us in every way. Read less

The pool is great and is always clean, there is always a waitress helping you and bringing you a drink or you can order food form the side grill next to the pool, the food was very good ! the Bech was private, pristine and so soft and just few steps from the hotel pool. The water in the ocean was so clear calm and warm definitely a great place to visit. we want to specially give credit to the front desk girl Kelsey that was so attentive to us and accomodate us to have the best stay. First of all, the surrounding area is beautiful and everything is in walking or biking distance. Upon arrival to the lobby, I immediately noticed how clean everything was, and the clear elevator and staircase area when, usually, they are tucked away in a different branch of the hotel. The reason I especially liked the staircase was because our hotel room was on the floor above the lobby, so we didn't have to go into the elevator to get to our floor. Another great thing about the staircase was that most of the time the stairs are tucked away and very grimy and musty, but these were open, right in front in the lobby, and were extremely clean. Upon arrival to our room I noticed that there was not a single stain in sight, and that the bathroom had zero problems whatsoever, and that I can't say anything bad about it if I wanted to. The bedroom was spotless, and everything had clearly been cleaned well prior. The beds were so comfortable that night I could've put them in my own home. The balcony for our room was facing the ocean and we could see the large and clean pool, the man-made waterfall, and the little pool the birds sat in. Though the best feature had to be the white-sand beach be hind the hotel. The white-sand beach was softer that anything I had felt before because they combed for shells and trash in the mornings with tractor-like machines. the water was extremely clear, and the beach looked like something from a movie. The service was amazing and everybody sat the resort was extremely friendly. Though the thing that I liked the least was that on the way in through the bridge there is alway traffic that is sure to add a couple more minutes to your drive. Honestly I couldn't find anything wrong with the resort, the pool, the beach, or the room. Everything was great. When I looked this over with my 12 year old who accompanied me on this trip along with my 14 year old and husband, the 12 year old said they absolutely agreed with everything I said. Read less

My husband and I just returned from a relaxing 5 day stay at the Sandpearl Resort. The property is beautiful, well maintained, and within walking distance to restaurants and shopping along Clearwater Beach. As this was our trip to Clearwater Beach we were sure of what to expect, but quickly learned that the Sandpearl is the best resort in the area. -Many thanks to my fellow Trip Advisor reviewers for steering us in the right direction. The grounds are beautiful and luxurious. Lots of greenery and sprawling views of the white sands of the Gulf Coast. The beach is immaculate and the pool is very clean. My only qualm is how close the pool chairs are to one another. Each chair touches the neighboring chair, so you definitely want to be on an end to make it easier to come and go as needed. The beach is spread out more, but does not offer any shade without purchasing an umbrella or cabana. We did buy an umbrella for a day and it was worth the money to enjoy the serene views. There is pool and beach service for drinks and snacks to make the experience all the more relaxing and enjoyable. There was a bit of a wait for service on the beach, but understandable as it is no small feat coming and going from the beach to the grill when taking and delivering orders. The pool was very family oriented with many young ones running and playing. We did not mind, but is something to consider if you’re traveling as a couple. We would happily bring our kids in the future for the fun amenities- kids club, corn hole, zero-entry pool, life-size chess, nightly movie under the stars, s’more bonfire pit and more... many activities for all to enjoy. My husband and I loved the beachside fire each night. The lobby is beautiful and offers more beautiful views upon reception. At check-in they have a champagne toast to welcome guests- a fun way to kick-off your vacation. The rooms are spacious and well furnished. Plenty of room to unpack your bags. Large closet and bathroom. Comfortable bed, but uncomfortable pillows. The Coastal View was beautiful from the room, but when stepping out to the deck was loud with a parking lot and building roof tops underneath us. Not a huge deal, but when upgrading our room we would have hoped for a more relaxing balcony space to enjoy. It would have also been nice to have a screen door on the balcony to enjoy the crashing waves (if we were in a room away from the parking lot and buildings). Food and drinks at the resort were good, not great. The views at Tate’s more than make up for the very average food though. Our favorite item at Tate’s was the chips & guac. The Hibiscus Mojito was our favorite drink. For cold beer, walk down the beach to Palm Pavillion. They had the best food and drinks around from our experience! We did enjoy a few meals there as well as the Clear Sky Cafe. Don’t miss either of those two restaurants in when visiting! COVID-19: We felt very safe here. Everything was clean and well appointed. All in all guests are very respectful of one another. Masking is required in the community areas inside of the resort (lobby, hallways, elevators). There are people who walk around without them, but they are few and far between. Even with a few people not masking we still felt safe. There is plenty of room to distance from people wherever you are at the resort, and in our experience they were very accommodating. Transportation was easy to book through the hotel concierge. They coordinated round trip airport transportation on our behalf. We also learned on our last day there is a hotel shuttle to take you around Clearwater. We would have tried that for a night or two if we had realized it was available. Overall we were very happy with the resort and the location! We hope to return in the future for another easy getaway.
