They are limiting the number of rooms available for sell. The occupancy was very low. Crocs was good. Staff friendly. Limited restaurant service due to covid. Also, no bell service, no concierge, no hertz rental, The gift shops were open on an extremely limited basis. No room service due to covid. We have been coming here for well over a decade and felt that the resort seems to have a lot of deferred maintenance that needs attending to. Perhaps it is because of Covid or perhaps the resort is starting to slip a bit. Read less

We were only there for 2 nights and the staff made us feel like family. Shannon and Jesus were our servers at the adult pool and they were there for every single need, going above and beyond. The food and drinks were incredible that they offer pool side. I highly suggest renting a cabana as it makes it easy to spend hours and hours pool side. We ate dinner every night at the restaurant, David’s, inside the hotel. Our bartender Chris always made sure our drinks were never empty and was great at making suggestions. Laura our server was super attentive to us the whole time. Michael is the director of food and beverage at the hotel and it is obvious he is running one well managed ship. He even came to our table a couple times to make sure we were taken care of. Wether you’re coming for business, a couples vacation, or a family trip, there is something for everyone, and everyone in your group will be taken care of! Read less

My mother, my 1 year old and I stayed at a two bedroom villa this past weekend for my cousins bridal shower. Her wedding is in December and this is the guest hotel so I figured I would check it out before renting the three bedroom for my gang (2 adults & 3 kiddos under age 6) for the wedding dates. I am so thankful I did! I had much higher expectations for this hotel based upon the reviews but was seriously so disappointed. Our first villa smelled very musty upon arrival and the carpet was soaked in areas. We figured perhaps they were wet vacuuming the carpets between guests and overdid it in some areas. We found out the next day running a load in the washer that it was actually the washing machine flooding. Not sure how long that had been going on. They were quick to send someone from engineering and housekeeping but had us switch rooms. All of the air vents are so dirty with dust and all the fans have tons of dust on them too. They are not doing a good job cleaning the villas at all. They feel old and grungy and dirty. The kitchen is bare minimum with not even paper towels or dish soap or dishwasher soap. They have keurig machines but no coffee. They moved us to a second villa upon realizing the extent of the washing machine flooding. The second room was not much better. Very dirty vents and fans, hair in the showers and tubs, the balconies are dirty and rusted. We ate breakfast one morning at David’s and it was bland to say the least and then the second breakfast at the deli...also not worth it albeit their lattes were good. We ate dinner out most nights elsewhere as room service is closed due to covid. I ended up changing my flight back a day early and leaving; I didn’t want to stay another night...two was plenty. Even in a non covid world I would be disgusted with the level of cleanliness but with covid it’s even more unacceptable and upsetting. If you don’t have the staff or ability to keep the villas up to par then you shouldn’t offer them for guests at this time. Read less

We are traveling with a family of four and chose a Villa with two bedrooms, a full kitchen and washer/dryer. The resort itself is quite nice with a wide range of amenities and helpful staff. We have enjoyed the pool options especially, and it’s relatively easy to commute to Disney from here. I would note that several of the bars and restaurants are operating under limited hours due to COVID. The poolside cantinas close at 5pm weeknights! As much as we like the resort, the Villas aren’t up to Omni standards, from overall cleanliness to non-working lamps and tv remotes to a need for deep cleaning in the kitchen. The outdoor patio table is rusty and unwelcoming. The accommodations are generally very nice and spacious but definitely quite different from the level of maintenance we’d expect based on the quality of the property next door. I get the impression that the Villas are privately owned and simply managed by Omni, so it’s possible that some units may be better than others. We have often rented other condos nearby through VRBO for lower rates. The differentiating factor here should be the Omni quality and service we expect for the premium price, plus the amenities like the restaurants and spa. Without the Omni halo this unit would rent for about half as much, so the value here is limited. Read less

I celebrated my birthday with my family in this resort and I only can say it was awesome!!!! Customer service is A+. You have everything very close, not as other resorts that you have to move around in your car and you finally give some of the entertainment, in this resort you have everything closer: Lazy river, pools, miniature golf, golf, bikes for family, everybody had a great time, great service, very clean. Since check in to check out, everything was great. Restaurants are expensive but you have many places out of property if you want, not to far away. They have a fireplace, I guess it will great for winter. Definitely we want to come back. I wish they have some special events for Christmas so we can come back. Read less
