Nice size, clean, well looked after and the staff are amazing. Every single member of staff we came across were so lovely especially Liz the general manager who made our stay. She was so accommodating and caring and the first person we met and made an amazing first impression. The parking was more than ample, the breakfast buffet was good. Even people from other hotels were coming for the breakfast. Lots of variety and choices. The pools were lovely, not overcrowded and the resort itself was quiet. We had our Na Pali kayak cancelled last minute and they were able to put us on another tour last minute so that made our trip. Thanks again and would highly recommend! Read less

This resort is in dire need of a renovation and another change of ownership. During check in we were asked if a upgrade was available as we were celebrating our anniversary. We were upgraded to an ocean view room on the 4th floor. After walking into the room we were speechless. Almost as if it was a joke the upgraded room had rust everywhere, paint peeling off the walls, and mysterious stains on the chairs. We went back to the front desk and gently informed them of the rooms condition and showed them the pictures attached to this post. The front desk staff was shocked and acted as if this was completely unusual here. We were given two room keys to look at another ocean view room on the 4th floor and a ocean view room in the deluxe class on the 5th floor. We looked at both rooms to find that the 2nd room was the same as the first. The 5th floor deluxe room was better but still not as described or portrayed on the Expedia/Travelocity website. We told the front desk we would like the deluxe 5th floor room but only after telling them this did they inform us that the cost would be an additional $60 per night. We refused and started to discuss our options of a refund and moving to other hotels. After the front desk staff heard this they told us they would talk to the manager and see if they could give us the deluxe room for no additional fees. The manager agreed. During our 10 days here we had the following additional problems: 1. No parking in the lot. The staff park in the close spots so we had to either park in the far back or valet (which was included in the $25/daily resort fee). After getting tired of tipping constantly this got annoying. 2. The pool chairs were old and did not match each other. 3. The 4 umbrellas on the resort near the pool were in very poor conditions as well. 4. Empty tables at the bar and poolside restaurant were unavailable most days. 5. The elevator was always broken/out of service. Only one elevator ever worked. 6. The staff just watch as chickens walk through the interior of the hotel restaurant. After telling them the response was “It lost its momma and is trying to find a place to sleep.” 7. The overall resort is in very bad shape and has lots of opening in the roof and rust on the sides of the buildings. 8. The beach as stated in previous post is a collection of trash washed ashore. Mostly old car parts demolished by the ocean. 9. You are unable to swim at the beach due to rock and coral extending from the beach well out into the ocean. 10. The pool turned into a daycare for the locals. We started to call other resorts to avoid the noise and to possibly enjoy a nice resort for a day. 11. Management and staff take no pride in the resort or are taking any actions in the foreseeable future to make it better. 12. 5 days out of 10 we had to find the maid to ask for coffee cups the she failed to refill. I could go on for days about why I would not stay here again but I’ve given this resort to much of my time as it is. Read less

The Hotel is very old, the elevators are rusty and the sun beds and chairs are damaged and not in a good shape. Even the treadmill in the fitness center was rusty. The management of this hotel is not capable at all to run the hotel as it should be. Avoid this place, you will be very disappointed The restaurant is even worse, the staff there is very unfriendly and not motivated. We asked at breakfast for a table outside - there was plenty of them free - the answer was "this section is closed, we don't have enough staff". We asked for the manager, but she was not available for us, that's how they concern about customers. I added pictures so that you can see how it looks like. Read less

Nice pool area, bar doesn’t open til 11am as does the towel area. Towels must b turned in by 5pm, outrageous as pool is buy until 7pm. Room service only for dinner. Limited dining. Very unsafe beach, no swimming yet very beautiful. Staff lended toward rude. As though the guest was an annoyance. Read less
