We stayed here for four days before driving on to Sun Peaks North east of Kamloops. The location of this hotel is great for exploring Vancouver it’s not far to walk to downtown Vancouver to all the shops bars and restaurants, the staff were very friendly and the concierge service was excellent. We only had breakfasts which was located in the North tower a short walk across the sky bridges from the South tower, a great range of breakfasts and very good food although quite expensive, but of course this isn’t Denny’s Dinner!! Whilst at the hotel is snowed heavily for a number of days and the staff worked tirelessly to keep the reception and walkway areas clear, we were on the 14th floor of South tower and had a great view of the city, overall I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Vancouver as base, great facilities, restaurant, bar, gym swimming pool and concierge service. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go! The concierge purchased tickets for us for various attractions which was very convenient. We booked 'club level' rooms and enjoyed the breakfast and appetizers there.

We spent one night at this hotel before we set off for Whistler and were very happy with our choice! The room was small but adequate and very clean with a super comfortable bed. The highlight were the bar staff that served us at the bar on a couple of occasions for a couple glasses of wine. They made sure our day, night and following afternoon were as good as possible by making recommendations of things to do, see, and eat all within walking distance of the hotel. We loved all their suggestions and truly think they went above and beyond with the service we would hope for on a couple quick visits to the little bar. They also of course recommended the hotel restaurant which unfortunately we didn’t have time for and we really do mean unfortunately we because the breakfast menu looked large and interesting which piqued my interest as a breakfast lover. Clearly other guests could confirm this quality of breakfast as the restaurant was busy in the morning. I wish we had gotten these young folks names so we could shout them out. The price for location was surprisingly reasonable at about $280 for the night but we did book a non-refundable room in advance. The location could not be better. We would definitely return on a stop in Vancouver again. Read less

Stayed one night only. Easy process to check in and accommodation and facilities very comfortable. Though, sadly all Queen size beds (that looked like a Double size according to Australian standards). However, great mattress and pillows that compensated. Hotel is in a great location - walking is the way to go. Parking can be a challenge and is expensive. Doesn't seem like there are enough spots for residential and hotel guests too. Spent a lot of time hunting for a spot and they are very small. Room was okay - small but intelligent layout made it acceptable. Biggest problem was the room (2406) was below the Club Lounge floor on 25 which apparently does not have carpeted floors. So every day (for 5 days) I got a walk up "call" of hard shoes and chairs scraping across the floor. Thoughtless design. The lack of sound proofing became even more evident when guest arrived in the next room and I could hear their conversations clearly even though they were speaking normally. The sound seemed to travel along the window wall. Bell and cleaning staff were top notch. But very disappointed in the dismal customer care at this hotel. When I checked out, not a word or thought was given to whether I was satisfied with my stay. When I volunteered my opinion, the reply was simply, gee that's too bad. When I emailed Bonvoy customer care, they did respond in a timely fashion and acknowledged that my stay was less than can be expected but also said the hotel management would reach out to me to rectify the situation. Never happened. Lower your expectations, bring your earplugs and don't stay on floor 24 and all will be fine. Read less
