A very functional and practical hotel. Staff are friendly. Very large with lots of guests staying who are in big groups. Rooms have everything you need. Ideal for business but probably wouldn’t chose to stay here if I was visiting with my family or staying for an extended stay.

Our room was roomy and attractive. My only complaint is that the "green option" means not only do you not get clean towels--but NO housekeeping at all--. It gets you a $5. coupon for use at the restaurant, bar, and Starbucks--but does not get your paper basket emptied, tissues replenished, bathroom cleaned, etc.

We only stayed 3 nights on our first trip to Canada, at the start of our road trip. Really pleased with our stay. Room (1706) was perfect, clean tidy, excellent bed, and a good view. I also like the green policy they have, with regard to room servicing. Would stay there again for sure. Well done all. Read less

Can’t say enough good things about the hotel. We stayed for a whole week and our Junior Suite on the 26th floor was more than adequate (tho’ a few more drawers for clothing would go a long way), the Club Lounge is one of the nicest I’ve seen in a while, with great breakfast selections, as well as dinner hors d’oeuvres, and an amazing view of the… Read more

But the best feature of the hotel is its staff, in my opinion. Everyone we encountered was professional, but friendly and went out of their way to assist however they could. A VERY SPECIAL SHOUTOUT to Robert Escalambre, Keiko in the Club Lounge and Sukhi (not too sure of spelling) from housekeeping. They are an asset to the hotel industry and all deserve a special mention. Thanks for a wonderful week. Read less

We spent the first 3 nights of our visit to Canada at this lovely hotel in the centre of Downtown. It was a great location for accessing the places we wanted to visit. The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated. Our King sized bed was extremely comfortable and the linen & pillows of a good quality. Bathroom was lovely. Plenty of space for everything and a choice of bath or shower. Room was also supplied with an iron and a personal safe and nice coffee. I was disappointed with the lack of comfortable seating in the bar area. A choice of the same chairs as breakfast time or a very firm leatherette bench. The lobby area had the same bench type seating. We only sat downstairs on our last night to have a couple of drinks but it wouldn't encourage me to sit again! Far more comfortable in our room where we had nice tub chairs. The breakfast was varied and plentiful but it was a little bit "hit and miss". We found the scrambled eggs tasteless and the sausages had too much seasoning. However the fried potatoes and beans were really good so we learned each day what to choose! All bread on offer was of the pre sliced variety but the pastries were varied and tasty. We were certainly well fed every day as we set out exploring, so little to complain about! For anyone without a car and moving on to Vancouver Island after their stay, do note that the BC Ferries Connector collects passengers at a hotel directly opposite the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre, and we found this very handy. There's also free shuttle buses from the same departure point going to the Capilano Suspension Bridge. In summary, I would say that this is a very good option for a Downtown hotel. It was good value, reliable and I would definitely be happy to stay here again. Read less
