In my opinion, the hotel has the best location in Vancouver... so central and within walking distance of my favorite spots to visit. The staff I encountered were genuinely friendly and very helpful with any requests or information as usual. They go above and beyond to ensure you are comfortable. The hotel is beautifully decorated within and my room had a fantastic view. The gym and pool open early and there is even a Starbucks in the lobby! I would wholeheartedly recommend the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre to any travelers visiting, as this is my absolute favorite Vancouver home away from home. Read less

This hotel is modern, clean and beautiful. It's located in the busy downtown area with shops and restaurants nearby. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful, the elevator is fast which is great considering how many floors there are. The landscaping in front is lovely. Rooms are comfortable and the views are awesome.

I live in Vancouver. Partly out of boredom, but mainly to maintain my elite status, I booked 4 nights at the Sheraton in October 2021. There are half a dozen Marriott properties in or on the fringes of downtown Vancouver, I wouldn't say one is more conveniently situated than the others. The Wall Centre takes up an entire city block on Burrard Street and is comprised of three towers and a green space. In terms of location the property is adjacent to (or between) downtown and the West End. False Creek, English Bay, Stanley Park, Canada Place, etc. are within walking distance to a greater or lesser degree depending on how much one likes walking. Additionally, this is probably the highest point of land (or very close) on the 'downtown/west end' peninsula which no doubt adds to the potential for sweeping views. My room was on the 26th floor of the South Tower with a view that was as good as you might expect. The view was probably 180° or close to it and took in English Bay. I was upgraded to a suite which I appreciated as a gesture. But the reality is it felt cramped. If the wall separating the sitting area from the bedroom weren't there the room would have seemed very large (of course this might not even be structurally feasible). There were two TVs, one was huge but because the seating area was quite compact I'm not sure it would be pleasant to watch. I didn't watch TV during my stay. Something I didn't realize, and which I haven't seen mentioned much, is that the hotel consists of two towers. One, the South Tower, is probably all hotel rooms, lounge, etc. The other, the North Tower, is partly hotel, partly private residences. Because all Executive Lounges seem to be closed (due to COVID I guess) the buffet breakfast (complimentary for Elite members) is in the North Tower restaurant (off the lobby). It took me two days to figure out I didn't have to bundle up to get from the South Tower to the North Tower for breakfast. A nice walk in pleasant weather, less so if it's cold, raining, or snowing. No one mentioned it, but I eventually realized there was a walkway at the 3rd floor level that connected the three towers, the ballrooms, gym, etc. In approximate terms the North and South Towers are almost a city block from each other. It's quicker walking outside but depending on the weather not necessarily more pleasant. Although the buffet breakfast is generous I miss not being able to access the Lounge. I was surprised at how expensive some of the dinner menu prices were in the restaurant. The restaurant is bright and cheerful but it's not a fine dining establishment. But, I'm not an expert of fine dining. The on site restaurant is certainly convenient, and staff were pleasant, but the dining choices within walking distance of the hotel are practically infinite. Each tower has a lobby with reception desks but the North Tower is definitely the main lobby. The South Tower lobby is smaller and can seem crowded if a tour group, flight crew, etc. is arriving or leaving. There is a Starbucks off the lobby of the South Tower. COVID protocols are in place. It's necessary to present proof of vaccination to access the restaurant (as with all restaurants in Vancouver to the best of my knowledge). Guests seemed to be cooperating with regard to limiting numbers in elevators, masking, etc. The restaurant has installed dividers between tables. Read less

I was very happy with the staff, they were all very professional, kind and happy. The hotel was clean, the room was quiet. I felt as though I was taken care of very well. I ate at the hotel many times, and it was always good. They take covid seriously - at the gym everyday they had a person checking vaccination records and ID. It was nice to see. I would certainly return back to the Wall Centre. The location can't be beat, fantastic value for money. Read less
