Great staff. Always accommodating. The text function is a life saver and typically very responsive. As a diamond member for close to a decade I wish there was more to differentiate “diamonds” from typical guests. Years ago diamonds were treated like royalty. Especially at the premium brands. Here I felt like just another guest.

We stayed with the Waldorf Astoria before and had such a stellar experience that we decided to take an extended sabbatical from June 28- July 16. This time we had a few hiccups. First, we were celebrating a birthday. We notified the staff at check in and they assured me they would acknowledge the event. The day came and went with not even a whisper from the staff. Second, we had an issue with pests. A roach was found in the bed. We notified the staff and they moved us to another room for the rest of our stay. Next, we ate at the Bull and the Bear. My entire family fell ill after the $400 dinner as we ate family style with our entrees and nothing was offered beyond ginger ale, crackers, and a visit from loss prevention ensuring us that they investigated the matter. Valet lost our keys on one occasion for over 30 minutes while we stood at our car. They offered to call us an Uber and we politely declined. At the end we get our guest folio and notice they double charged valet as well as charging 3 different restaurant visits to our room which we never visited. Two were for La Luce and one for Harvest Bistro. While we did eat at La Luce once I used my credit card for the charge rather than charging it to the room.I am still awaiting word from Hilton regarding the restaurant charges. the valet double charge has been addressed and refunded as of this review. I also decided to play a round of golf at the course on site. The bunkers might as well have been water hazards on several holes as there were literal ponds inside the sand traps. For $100 a round I expected more. Given that this is five star resort I expect a closer attention to detail. I feel there were significant shortcomings which I am still having to address beyond my departure which really leave me with a feeling of dissatisfaction. I am not the type of guest to just relay everything that went wrong. They did many things right as well. The scent of the hotel was divine. Every time you walk in the lobby it was so inviting. Peacock Lounge has a piano player come in several nights of the week that we really enjoyed. The practice facility at the golf course was very nice and the greens were in great shape. When you stay at the Waldorf you also get access to the Hilton pool next door which has a lazy river and a slide that the children love. We spent a whole day out there while our daughter ran every ounce of energy out of herself. La Luce was hands down the best experience we had. The signature pork chop was incredible. It was served with a butternut squash and a balsamic glaze. They also brine the meat for three days and you could tell I honestly can’t say if I will stay with this resort again as I am still awaiting the result of my disputes. I would caution anyone staying there to double check your folio before departing to ensure that all charges are indeed yours. Read less

While the place was slammed (as is every hotel), they did a pretty good job but not quite WA caliber. Pool waitstaff attentive and very nice along w accommodating. Every time we needed something (extra sheets, towels, etc.) bc of covid restrictions we had to ask the front desk, normally not an issue but the lines were insanely long. Housekeeping was very sweet and helpful. Bar staff (inside) a bit smug. Overall, great location if you are doing Disney (we didn't). Probably stellar service for Disney-area, but for a WA I expect a bit more catering however, very good will give a go again. Food is pretty yummy at the pool and from the bar . Read less
