The views from the rear of the hotel are spectacular, it is well worth upgrading to the lake view rooms. All staff are friendly and make you feel very welcome during your stay. It was nice to see some familiar faces at the piñon grill who had gone above and beyond 2 years prior. We had lunch most days that we spent around the pool. The food is very good. Please add your grilled cheese to the adult menu... 😉 Looking forward to planning our next visit in the near future. Only minor thing... I agree with the previous review that the towels around the pool have seen better days... Read less

This is the whole purpose of asking for towels via poolside when there are none Offer coffe, cream etc in the lobby! Your restaurant is not open prior to 6am. And that is an IF they are open when they feel like doing so. Coffee should be in the lobby and offered free and early. You do realize in AZ when it's hot people get up early to get a jump start on the day. The coffee makers are pitiful and the coffee provided is really substandard. Stains on towels. Is really gross. In your room and poolside. Upgrade your towels! Read less

The McCormick was a very good find for us. It is a pleasant, peaceful resort that offered just enough for a very nice stay and was not overly crowded. Rooms are average and clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. Restaurant has hotel prices, but the portions were large and satisfying. The kids really enjoyed swimming in the pool and paddling around the lake in the kayaks and canoes provided by the resort and covered by a modest resort fee ($25). Offers mountain and lake views. All in all a very nice stay I can confidently recommend. Read less

Stayed here for a work trip. Was a nice clean and accommodating hotel. The rooms had all that we needed in them. There was a wine happy hour in the evening. And conveniently located for activities. Would highly recommended to others.

Affordable place in a VERY expensive town. Canoe on the pond was fun (watch out for flying golf balls). Small swimming pool. Tub and sink drained SUPER slow. Very polite and kind staff. Enjoyed having a private porch and loved the palm trees.
