Loews Vanderbilt Nashville

Nashville, Tennessee

The hotel

Loews Vanderbilt Hotel Nashville has a quiet confidence in its location, style, and features. And quite rightly so. Just steps from Vanderbilt Uni and the recording studios that made Music Row (and indeed Nashville) famous, and a mile from the honky tonks where the studio sounds play out for all to hear, this Music City maestro celebrates Nashville’s past and present with cool poise and even cooler styling. They’ve thought of every traveller essential: complimentary WiFi, charging stations for your gadgets, and 24-hour fitness facilities in case sightseeing doesn’t wear you out. And, if experiencing Nashville’s sights and sounds does take it out of you, you can always retreat to enjoy Mason’s modern Southern dining, Ruth’s Chris Steak House’s prime beef, and Mason Bar’s pre-prohibition style drinks, served in its namesake mason jars under a mason jar chandelier.

I frequently stay at this hotel, and am always greeted by an accommodating staff. This week I came in late on a cold night, and Adrian went out of his way to find me the perfect room. Old and tired room and hallway. Will not recommend unless they renovate. We got the grand king room, which was very spacious with cute OLD furniture. All the cabinets were scratched and are in need of either replacement or at least a fresh coat of paint. A very long blond, or grey, hair on the towels. Bed and pillows were comfortable and lobby… Read more

The hotel itself is incredible in its architecture, not to mention the staff. Adrian helped me with check in and he was so courteous and helpful. The surrounding area of restaurants and parks was very nice to explore as well. I was all around happy with my stay and look forward to visiting this area again; Loews is where I’ll be staying next time as well. Room review: Great shower, comfy/ soft beds. The TV works with any smart phone, heater works well. Great view of the city. Stayed in room 839. Read less

Stayed at the hotel with my husband and two young children in adjoining rooms. The lobby was very nice but it stopped there. The hallways on the guest room floors were filthy as was the wallpaper. Stayed at the hotel with my husband and two young children in adjoining rooms. The lobby was very nice but it stopped there. The hallways on the guest room floors were filthy as was the wallpaper. We walked j to frigid rooms and the heat was broken. The woman at the front desk, whose English was spotty at best, said she would move my daughters to a different floor so they could have heat. Um, you want two young kids to stay alone in a hotel room on a different floor from their parents? The guest rooms were dark with broken furniture- broken night stand in kids’ room and broken curtains and dresser in ours. After 2 hours, an engineer came up and fixed the heat after the front desk worker said she couldn’t help and that a manager wouldn’t be back at the hotel for 6 days. Huh? Shower in our room was dirty. Luckily beds were clean. For such a well knows and seeming-ly luxury hotel chain, this place was the pits. You couldn’t pay us to stay here again. Read less
