The hotel is in a great location, not too far from Broadway. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The only options for parking are valet, at $20 per day, or street. The room was a little outdated and looked better as advertised. All rooms are outdoor entrance. Beds were decently comfortable, a big bathroom. Three star rating is due to pricing-… Read more

This is a motel not a hotel by any stretch. The corridors are outside, the facilities are really dated in the rooms and the common areas are tired. The workout room reeks of mildew and the equipment is antiquated. Breakfast is cheap and we went out for breakfast every day as it was so bad. The 3 stars is because the staff was terrific. Really… Read more

Really kind and helpful but they cannot overcome the facility—and nearly $300/night is shocking. Read less

Good central location a short walk from the main bars. First appearance I was a little wary but don't let that put you off. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. A big selling point for the hotel! The room was a little dated but clean & spacious. It has a safe and hairdryer. Breakfast choice was a little limited but does the job.… Read more

The Capitol hotel is about 5 blocks from the honky tonk main drag on Broadway. One side of the hotel faces Union St and the inside of those rooms have traffic noise. Those rooms were also dated and reminded me of a hotel built in the 70's. The beds were comfortable, the maids were good. The other side of the hotel is a garden type view and would… Read more

Those rooms were also dated and reminded me of a hotel built in the 70's. The beds were comfortable, the maids were good. The other side of the hotel is a garden type view and would be nicer and quieter. The lobby is tiny, no concierge and too many luggage carts inside. The bar is little as well. The free breakfast is filling and doesn't vary from day-to-day. It's a toss up recommendation of value including a mediocre breakfast with the cost and value of more expensive hotels. Read less
