Parker Palm Springs

Palm Springs, USA

The hotel

Cheeky yet civilised, Parker Palm Springs lives up to its belief ‘you are only young once… but you can be immature forever’ by throwing in witty twists to desert living. After all, who said a desert-bound hotel couldn’t have a yacht club? (To be fair PSYC’s actually more ‘American country club’, with tennis, spa, and 24-hour fitness zones). The Parker’s inexplicably lush gardens host highbrow petanque and croquet, while its three pools include a 24-hour adult only pool, its rooms promise WiFi, and its dining spans Norma’s diner-style comfort food, Mini Bar’s sharing boards, and the seductively indulgent bistro, Mister Parker’s. And it’s all near downtown Palm Springs and El Paseo Drive, with local attractions including Moorten Botanical Garden and Cactarium, the Rimrock and Canyon Plaza shopping centres, the convention centre, and Knott’s Soak City Palm Springs.

I love the Jonathan Adler design and am inspired every time I visit. The valets are always super friendly & rush even in the scorching heat (so be sure to tip!) and they always make sure to send you on your way home with fresh bottles of Evian for your journey. The adult pool was a bit crowded during out stay, so we checked out the Silicon Valley pool, which allows kids, and it was much more relaxed. Barely anyone there any not really any kids. I could not recommend the Parker enough. It will blow your socks off. Read less

We had a fabulous stay at The Parker! The pastry chef made the best Macarons we have ever eaten, along with a magnificent birthday cake. The staff everywhere on the resort were exceptional and went out of their way to make our stay special. Gigi at Norma’s was terrific and is just the best! Can’t wait until we can return.

Always engaging and quickly available I cannot say enough how great they are. Ryan in valet was our favorite asking about our day or a recent dinner. There were celebrities at the pool with their families relaxing that got the same treatment that we did. Inclusive and diverse for all in attendance Loved seeing everyone just relaxing together. Everything about the property was superb! We went for a 3 day quick getaway and being by the pool for that time was so much fun. The service( from morning barista to evening drinks) was phenomenal ! Easy to love.
