Covid burnt-out moms take note: BOOK YOURSELF A ROOM HERE SOLO! I came here for my 2nd stay: a birthday treat to relax and recharge. Every detail from start to finish was perfection. - I was complementary upgraded to a deluxe room which had a soaker tub (highly recommended) as well as a huge rainfall shower. - A (delicious) chocolate crunch birthday cake with a hand-written note was delivered as a surprise. - Lightly scented bath salts, high-end toiletries and heavy Turkish cotton robes were included. The sheets were quality and divine, the pillows on the softer/ less dense side so I stacked them. - Very clean room (purse-sized sanitizers, sanitizing wipes and masks included) with turndown service (butter biscuit and all). - Upgraded early check in and VERY late checkout (3:00pm), again complements of the staff. - Breakfast in the 1927 Lounge was included as part of my package. One of the best breakfasts of my life (lox and cream cheese with butter lettuce) while I sat a velvet, leather couch with quiet jazz playing in the background. - Every staff member went above and beyond to make everything perfect. *The only tip I would have is to request a room that isn’t on the side of Pacific Centre Mall (currently under construction) or to ask if it’s been completed.* Unrushed, luxe, heavenly. I didn’t want to leave. This is SO worth the splurge! Read less

We wanted to treat ourselves after our elopement and get a room downtown Vancouver and it was 100% worth it. I booked our room third party and on my reservation, I put it was our wedding night and I also called ahead and asked if it was possible to drop off our bags early morning before our wedding and also if I drop some things for in the room. I asked if they could set the room up nicely for us before we checked in. They were so helpful and nice on the phone. I was honestly a little worried if I was asking for too much. We arrived in the morning I do believe the front desk gentleman's name was Joseph. He was so nice friendly and helped us in the morning and sent us a text when our room was ready. He was also there after our wedding and our official check-in. They were so nice and upgraded our room 2 tiers. Our room......was absolutely stunning. They set everything up for us just PERFECT!! This was the cherry on top of the most amazing day. The room was gorgeous, had amazing decor, and had a spacious bathroom and large tub. The view was overlooking the art gallery/square. This has been the best experience I've ever had at any North American Hotel and one of my top stays ever. We were so sad to leave and really regretted now staying two nights. Thank you to all the staff for making our wedding day extra special. This was everything I wanted and more. I look forward to staying again. Read less

It was EXACTLY what I was looking for to decompress. Everything felt luxurious and felt like a true 5 star hotel. The bathroom was spacious and size of the room was great. I am truly amazed by how Hotel Georgia transformed over the years. 25+ years ago it was this mediocre hotel that looked very dated. Now it is a historical building with character and luxury. Now they just need to bring back the pastry shop 5 Senses from when they first reopened Hotel Georgia...still THE best patisserie I've had over the years. Read less

It's great to be back to the Rosewood Hotel Georgia, our favorite hotel in Vancouver next to the Pacific Rim and Shangri-la. The decor is deeply luxurious and the staff are amazing - super friendly and helpful. The pool is beautifully done - not huge but very artsy and elegant. The bathroom is gorgeous and spacious. Our room looked onto the museum of art and all the activities that go on in its square / courtyard. In-room dining selections are delicious. We love everything about our stay, despite the fact that, having heard drip-drip-drip all night, we didn't realize that the light fixture in the bathroom was actually leaking water onto the floor the whole time. We did wonder why the floor was wet the whole night lol. Hot water also took a long while (3-5 minutes) to come through the tap. The engineer said these glitches were the result of the hotel being closed for most of COVID lockdown. which we can appreciate. Also, I wish the bathroom had a little shelf to put the phone down above the toilet paper holder like in other luxury hotels. Also, outlets and charging outlets next to the bed would be convenient. We shall return soon! Read less
