When planning our 10 year Anniversary trip there was only one place in the world we wanted to go - Palm Island Resort in the Grenadines. Unfortunately the pandemic meant that we couldn't go as planned in 2020 but we made it there in Aug 2021 and it was definitely worth the wait! The Island is a very special place for us and this was our 3rd visit (and won't be our last). It's an adventure to get there :-). When we arrived at Barbados airport we found out that we'd be the only guests on the island, the previous guests had let the day we arrived. This was perfect for us and the staff pulled out all the stops to ensure we had a super holiday. The food was amazing (as always), have the coconut special at breakfast, you won't be disappointed. Once at the resort we had 2 days "quarantine" but really it was a couple of days of being waited on and thoroughly looked after! Still having access to the beach in front of our room was fantastic and the superior beachfront room had a lovely view and a very comfortable bed. I'd take quarantine in Palm over being anywhere else!! The staff at the resort are amazing, they are also part of what makes this place so special (thank you all!). We enjoyed exploring the island by bike and foot, and swimming with the turtles. Snorkeling at the reef gave us the opportunity to see the wonderful marine life. Yes, we had to have a few tests to get to the Caribbean (we also stayed in Barbados after our stay on Palm), whilst out there and in order to come home but Palm organised the tests we needed whilst at the resort and it's a small inconvenience for the opportunity to relax in paradise. Although we loved having the resort to ourselves hotels need guests to survive. If you're thinking of going don't hesitate, you won''t be disappointed! Our trip was in Aug/Sept but the weather was fantastic! However, remember, once you go there nowhere else will be quite as amazing.... Read less

Rent hammock #4 for a private beach lunch…Breakfast, lunch, Dinners and drinks are great, you won’t go hungry with lots to choose from! Go swim with the turtles for the afternoon, tons of fun to be had there. We released over 30 baby sea turtles in the ocean one night, that was awesome! I could go on and on about the place. The traveling to get there is a a little crazy, but you won’t want to leave once you get there! I see why there are so many repeat customers, we will be back! Read less

If you're worried, don't be. 2 days in "quarantine" = 2 days of forced beachfront relaxation. With rum punch! This was a life-changing experience. The staff was amazing and felt like friends by the time we left. The beauty of the island and surrounding waters is incredible. The accommodations are perfect. And even with reduced capacity, the resort offered everything we needed and more. (Steel drums! Rum tasting! Snorkeling! Hobie Cat!) Thank you to the team. We can't wait to see you again! Read less

My favorite island in the Caribbean. What's there not to like. Great accommodations, great people, great food, great drink, great weather. I can only wait for the day when I can return to this Little Piece of Heaven in the Grenadine Islands. It will make my day they share the sun and the sand in the water with my wife
