Again the food was excellent, and the facilities were top class. Katie, as has been said before on this site, is hands on and makes all her guests feel special. The staff, from the gardeners to the reception are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. It’s hard to single out any individual staff member because all were special in their own way but Shaquille and Glenford went that extra mile to make it such an enjoyable stay for us. The airport meet and greet service provided at Barbados was excellent, both when arriving and returning. Thanks to everyone at Palm Island - we would like to think we will return soon. Read less

We were thrilled to see many familiar faces from the staff. Katie, resort manager and her right hand Ed greeted us. Chef Baka is still there creating consistent delicious meals. It was just like when we left it years ago…only better! It was very quiet our first week (under 20 guests)…second week saw a slight uptick on numbers but still very quiet…it was heaven! Katie and her team go out of their way to make each guest’s experience amazing. We went out on the Yannis( very rough day going out but still had a blast) and booked hammock 4 for a picnic lunch which were both really enjoyable. Even the spa ladies from Bali are still there and do an incredible job. It’s a testament to Palm that they have so many return staff from COVID. If you get a chance…GO! You won’t be disappointed! Due to Covid and the Volcano, we missed going to Palm Island for 2 years. This was our 5th trip to Palm Island and we were thrilled to be back. Everything was just as good or better from the last time we visited in 2019. Our only disappointment is that our secret little island, is no longer a secret. We love it here. We have travelled extensively and have never found such an exceptional beach as there is in Palm Island. It is hard to explain how soft the sand is and how clear the water is. In our opinion, this is the best beach in the world. We always stay in the premium beachfront rooms. We love the outdoor patio, the spacious room, and the location. It is just steps away from the beach. The food is very good. You just have to be careful, because you will most likely need to go on a diet after visiting. There are always great options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We love the rotating dinner menus. And the desserts - yum! For cocktail - Johnny makes one of the best Cosmopolitan's I have ever had. One must thing to do is to take a private trip on the Pink Lady with Captain Keith. But what sets the resort apart from others is the staff. They are all exceptional: the grounds crew, housekeeping, restaurant staff, bar staff, and management. Everyone knows you by name, they make you feel like part of their family. We can't wait for trip #6 next year. Read less

We finally got to Palm island after a two year delay . It was all we hoped for and needed and so much more. The airport meet and greet was excellent , and very helpful that it was even provided on the return too . The island , resort and beaches were truly stunning . So much variety in such a tiny place , a little like Hawaii , a little bit of Uk Cornish coast and white sandy Caribbean beaches too . Morning walks of the whole island were pure joy . The Southern cross villa was breathtaking and private with almost 360 degree views with the warm plunge pool that gets the sun all day . The Sea-feather villa was beautiful too and right on the stunning beach with a jacuzzi to admire the view . The golf cart rides home were great fun , we always drove the long way to admire the scenery even more . We did the private dinner for our wedding anniversary , and the hammock 4 picnic , all highly recommended . We also took a private charter on Yannis , best guided snorkeling I have ever done . The views from the restaurants are incredible , and we enjoyed the food and the drinks too . Staff were beyond amazing , all of them . Katie leads a great team by her example , genuine warm hugs and waves as we left . Time to make a bigger slot in the staff tips box I think . We loved every minute and 2 weeks was too short . Hope to get back “home “soon . Read less

Just returned from 8 nights at Palm Island. Our 5th visit in 10 years. Our last visit was 3 years ago and everything was as perfect as we remembered it. An idyllic setting, kind and attentive staff and delicious food. We loved not needing to make a reservation and the fact that dinners alternated between the two restaurants. The repeater’s catamaran cruise was a nice touch. We also went to Tobago Cays on the Pink Lady which was a lot of fun. If you’re looking for a peaceful place to relax while staring at beautiful turquoise water and listening to the sound of the waves, this is it. It’s not the place for late night party people, although the evening entertainment was fantastic and there were opportunities to dance. Thank you Katie, Dervon and your awesome team for making our holiday extra special. Read less
