Le Germain was clean and modern. The room was well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. It was quieter than I expected (in a good way!). The Victor (restaurant) breakfast was just okay. A nice enough spread. Menu was a little light but then it was just breakfast. Didn't eat there for any other meals. Late night room service was prompt and… Read more

I would definitely stay there again. Read less

Located in a side street but excellent for walking to Citys main attractions, the CN Tower, The Rogers Centre, the Aquarium and the Harbour Front, and a 10 minute walk from the Union Station The bedroom large , with a huge bed,the lighting modern, the bathroom beautifully equipped, and despite extensive neighbour work construction no noise could be heard. Continental breakfast was mainly the order of the day in a chic breakfast room, although cooked items could be separately purchased. And a final word for the "doormen" , always there , always polite and so helpful with car parking requests. Read less

Every hotel has a courteous attitude, but what distinguishes one from the other is when something goes wrong and how they handle it. Well every time I needed help with something they were there instantly. Literally I close the phone and in the next 60 seconds someone is knocking at my door to assist. And with a big smile I might add! As for the place, it's cozy, stylish and I feel like a total queen when I'm there. Great job and thank you!! Read less

Delightful small venue tucked away and worth the stay. Sooo glad we booked at this lovely hotel, not only for it's unique modern charm, but also because it's centrally located and easy to walk virtually anywhere in the city or to catch the local transit. Benefits also include quieter hallways and no waiting for elevators, as is typical in much larger hotels where lines are frequent and service not always prompt. Le Germain serves a delicious breakfast which surpasses any I've seen labeled "Continental." Cappuccino or latte included, sumptuous pastries and croissants or bagels, hard boiled eggs, home-made granola... just to mention a few delightful offerings. Or order from a menu-- french toast, omlettes... plenty to choose from. This is not a place for a magnificent view, as the adjacent buildings are close... but who spends time staring out the window while in Toronto? Helpful concierge and attentive staff met our every need. Comfortable big bathrobes and a deep soaking tub make relaxing after a busy day of sightseeing worth coming back to Le Germain. Want to stay in? Enjoy a delicious dinner in the restaurant or a night cap in the cozy bar. Room service is fast, too. Read less
