Image of the Tripadvisor rating Great hotel value for the money

This is a great middle price range hotel for larger families. We stayed in a room with two queen beds, two bunk beds and a pull out couch. If hotel rules would support it, you could sleep eight in this room, no problem. The free breakfast is totally worth considering in your budget. If hotel rules would support it, you could sleep eight in this room, no problem. The free breakfast is totally worth considering in your budget. They have ham, cheese, scrambled and hard boiled eggs, 4 types of cereals (the fruit loops goes fast) fruit, waffles, coffee and many other options. Considering that you might spend $30-$50 for a family of 4 for breakfast off site, you should defiantly factor this into the price of the room. Quite the value for the money. Beware of the $25 per day parking fee. Didn’t know about that and there is not a lot of parking available. Other than that issue, we loved staying here. You can walk to the front entrance of the Disneyland amusement parks and if you’re legs get tired, you can Uber back to the hotel. Read less
Image of the Tripadvisor rating Great location...terrible pool with good views

The one area I was very disappointed in was the roof top pool. The view is awesome to watch the fireworks. However, the pool was freezing and there was no hot tub. Who in the world wants to sit cold water on a cool night watching fireworks!?! Its sad to think that the Best Western down the street that was built in the 70s has a better/warmer… Read more

Who in the world wants to sit cold water on a cool night watching fireworks!?! Its sad to think that the Best Western down the street that was built in the 70s has a better/warmer pool and hot tub, is quite comparable in comfort and breakfast, and was much more affordable. As far as the rooms and comfort of the hotel...its a Marriott so its great! The location of the hotel is also a positive as it is just across the street from Disneyland and we would walk to the Toy Story Shuttle for a quick lift to the park. Read less

Part of this is my fault; I cancelled our reservation at the Residence Inn next door when I found out they were renovating their pool. I fully expected an actual kitchen like at the Residence Inn and instead was met with a microwave and mini fridge. This is mostly problematic because of severe food allergies. Not being able to prepare our own food meant a lot of extra expense for us. We booked a “family suite” for our family of 5 during our annual vacation to Disneyland. The room is spacious, and you can see the fireworks from the roof, and that’s about the only good thing about our stay here. One bathroom in a family with 3 women is a terrible idea. The bathroom is small and there’s no tub. Our bed was UNBEARABLY UNCOMFORTABLE. Our kids complained about the bunk beds and the pull out as well. We might as well have tried to sleep on the floors. It’s sad when the kids are thankful to leave Disneyland so they can actually get some sleep in their own beds. Literally the ONLY thing you REALLY need after an entire day at the Parks is a comfortable bed and we couldn’t even get that. I called the front desk our first night because it sounded like someone was pounding on the ceiling. I was assured that there wasn’t even a room above us (room 402). The young man said he would send security to see if there were any hooligans out and about. The pounding turned into scraping sounds. The noise stopped around 11pm. Turns out we were directly underneath the pool. All 5 nights we were there was the same thing. Bang bang, scrape scrape, Boom boom, and dragging noises. Speaking of the pool, the photos are deceptive. The capacity for the pool is 20 PEOPLE. It’s TINY. I’m not sure how often these rooms are ever cleaned. Splashes from beverages past litter the walls and weird smears from what looks like old food and god knows what else are everywhere. There’s mold along the shower and the ring around the sink. The wallpaper is peeling as is the paint everywhere (see photos). The climate control ignores you in the main room so our kids were constantly cold. We called down for extra blankets and were spoken to incredibly rudely from the young lady on the other end of the phone. When I went down to the front desk to ask for more linens, there was a young man checking in who was handed some bottled water. When it was my turn, I asked if I could get some as well and was cooly told “you’re not an elite member”. Well la dee da, I guess I’ll go to CVS and grab 12 bottles for $2.99 and you can keep your “elite members only water”. Breakfast was the absolute worst part. We have two family members who are celiac and thought they’d be safe eating eggs and sausage. Sadly they both became violently ill. Turns out the first ingredient in the sausage is BREAD CRUMBS and the eggs are some dehydrated egg with gluten in it. If you like bagels, Froot Loops and waffles, and yogurt that tastes like artificial sweetener, this will be right up your alley. If you want to eat anything remotely healthy that isn’t a carbohydrate, forget it. I gave up after day 2 of sticky tables and we just skipped breakfast altogether. Distance to the park isn’t terrible but it’s a 15 minute walk and not tolerable after days of park hopping. It’s a $9 UberXL ride one way to the Downtown Disney District. For $450/night this place was a disappointment of epic proportions. The icing on the cake was when I approached the front desk to check out and address some of the concerns I had and without even looking up at me, the young lady took my hotel keys and told me my receipt would be emailed to me... Save your money and stay elsewhere. Every single time I try and save money by staying off property I am sorely disappointed. Read less

I stayed at this hotel in May of 2019 for a solo trip to Disneyland. I also stayed here back in the winter of 2016 and decided to come back as this hotel is very safe and comfortable for a young woman traveling solo. Overall, I am still very impressed with this hotel. It’s an easy 15 minute walk to Disneyland. My room was large, updated, spotless, and just overall cozy. I also loved the pool on the rooftop! Lastly, a big shout out to this hotel’s flexibility. I got to check in 5 hours before normal and got to do a 2 hour late check out. This was amazing for someone who travelled there from the East Coast! I have some hang ups that stopped me from giving a perfect 5 star rating. 1) The free breakfast wasn’t worth it (powdered eggs, oh boy) 2) I was put in the dreaded room 410 so I heard banging and stomping all day and night. That former review about room 410 is so accurate. Definitely don’t stay there! 3) I love the Bonvoy app and like to utilize the chat feature. Whoever was in charge of the chat for this hotel would take upwards of 30 minutes to respond to my reach outs. Although I have my 3 cons, I would definitely stay here again. Ain’t nothing Disneyland park breakfast, a different room, and using the phone can’t fix ;) Read less

The rooms were a bit smaller than other hotels in the area but everything was clean which is what we seek when we stay at hotels. Staff was very accommodating, we needed help with our luggage and they offered to help . They recommended some good places to eat . Thank you for a great stay!
