This is a really nice place. Some oddities though, like the glass wall and shower curtain in the bedroom so you can spy your family members sh_tting and showering. If you’re newlyweds, exhibitionists, or college kids who can’t get enough physical action, it seems kind of hip and sexy, I guess. Otherwise it’s creepy, a prelude to the premise of a… Read more

If you’re newlyweds, exhibitionists, or college kids who can’t get enough physical action, it seems kind of hip and sexy, I guess. Otherwise it’s creepy, a prelude to the premise of a Dr. Phil Show. ~The staff is great. But the giant clunker at this hotel is the noise from the nightclub on the roof, Apogee. If you like rest or sleep, of any kind, this is not your hotel. The ultra loud techno thumping lasts til 4:30 AM. I could both feel it and hear it through my noise canceling head phones. This ruined my weekend since I wasn’t anticipating two days of sleep deprivation. I cannot be the first to complain about this. Read less

The rooms are a good size and ours had a very large and welcome shower. It’s location is ideal for us tourists being about 3 or 4 blocks east of Michigan, the up market shopping and entertainment street, and not far from the waterfront,so we’d come back. Read less

Front desk and front door service was excellent - everyone was so welcoming and friendly. Rooms were a nice size and beds were comfy. Nice that the room had two types of blinds - used them both! The restaurant downstairs had an excellent breakfast. The only odd thing was the sliding door that closes either the bathroom door or the closet, one at a time. You couldn’t be accessing in the closet while someone else was going in or out of the bathroom. Not terribly inconvenient, and not a deal breaker! Also, the concrete ceiling makes for a funky look, but also makes the rooms a little dark. Again, minor detail. Would absolutely stay here again for location and service! Read less

I stayed at the dana hotel and spa (now Eurostars Magnificent Mile) for seven nights for a work trip. Gorgeous scenery, stunning views, elegant and modern rooms--this place is very attention to detail. The doormen were always nice and conversational, check-in/check-out was a breeze. Room service was super fast. A terrific stay!
