Wyndham New Orleans French Quarter

New Orleans, Louisiana

The hotel

Most come to New Orleans for the exuberance and elegance of the French Quarter, and this hotel places you right in the thick of it. Just blocks from Bourbon Street, it’s also your way into The Big Easy’s other lures: gumbo, jazz and blues, Mississippi steamboat sounds, even Mardi Gras if you time things right, fill surrounding streets. But Wyndham New Orleans French Quarter is more than its prime Royal Street address. Inside you’re treated to the French Quarter’s only indoor pool, a terracotta-tiled sanctuary with views of both the adjoining hotel gym and New Orleans itself. Downstairs, Deuce McAllister’s Ole Saint Kitchen & Tap serves southern dishes like BBQ shrimp, local and regional craft beers, and Louisiana-inspired cocktails, with both the restaurant and sports lounge infused in Deep South hospitality.

Checked in room found hair on both beds. Seem as if blanket and sheets wasn't clean. Complained to front desk they gave me another room. Soon as I checked in the other room vent fell off the wall as I walked by.

We had the most amazing experience at the AC Bourbon Hotel. Ricky was unbelievable. He made the best drinks and shared great stories about New Orleans. We look forward to coming back and visiting with Ricky.

Eight of us stayed at the hotel during Super Bowl weekend. We were in town for a rugby tournament but it was sadly cancelled. The hotel is located in the business district two blocks away from the entrance to Bourbon Street. It is a good walk from this hotel to all the local attractions. There is a 24 hour chicken place across the street which is a must, Daisy Dukes a half a block away but avoid after 11pm incase your looking to have your phone and wallet stolen and a great po-boy LSU bar within walking distance. The hotel staff was amazing. During the Super Bowl, since the kitchen was closed, they allowed us to bring in our own food/drinks (which we cleaned up no thanks to Julian our buddy) and watch the game with other guest in the lobby/bar area. Everyone was practicing social distancing. There was hand sanny by every elevator. All-in-all it was a perfect place. Read less

We stayed at the AC hotel French Quarter. The staff was very friendly and hospitable. The rooms were tiddy. Nice lobby, and lounge area. This hotel is Centrally located. Just a block away from all the happenings in the French Quarter.
