This is an older hotel but still charming and very clean. Absolutely cannot beat the location. Because it is older, rooms lack well placed electrical outlets and I can say I've never had a bathroom that didn't have a holder for toilet paper. (Plenty of it provided, just on the back of the toilet.) But it's incredibly clean and very well kept. … Read more

(In reference to other reviews, they were no longer serving breakfast or serving wine in the evening while I was there.) Very comfortable bed and nice to have a full sized closet. Read less

We had a fabulous room in the newly renovated Copley square hotel. It was a great location, close to shopping and restaurants. The staff went out of their way to make it a comfortable experience. They got our room ready early. We had a city view corner king room with beautiful crown mounding, super comfortable bed and just so clean and fresh smelling. My only tiny critique is that there is very little bathroom counter space to put all my toiletries (high maintenance girl). The hotel itself had huge grand center stairway which reminded me of the grand Floridian in Disney. Price was right, parking nearby. Read less

No coffee in the room, no coffee in the lobby...NO COFFEE!!! How can you be a luxury hotel and not have a coffee maker either in the room or in the lobby????? You have to leave the hotel to get coffee in the morning. My room had NO HAIRDRYER, my shower fan and light were broken, I had no hot water one of the nights when I showered and the towel rack knob was broken so every time I hung my towel up it fell down. Also it was raining one morning, and they had no umbrellas to lend!!!! Sorry to say this hotel was NOT for me. Not luxury, and NOT worth the price!! Read less

This hotel is very charming. Very clean. They have complimentary breakfast, which is your basic stuff like hard boiled eggs, yogurt and pastries. They have a nightly wine down where they offer a complimentary glass of wine. The hotel is very small, but that’s understandable being a historic hotel in the city. Can’t beat the location- local to back bay station, prudential mall and the supermarket is across the street. The only drawback is no fridge or microwave in the room and tight quarters to share with two people Read less

We stayed here for one night. We got a great last minute deal and were pleasantly surprised with this place. I had mistakenly selected the following day's date, as opposed to that night, which turned into a big disaster because we'd booked through a third party. That said, the staff did all they could to assist with this issue and even upgraded us to a nicer room for all of the trouble. The room was clean and spacious with city views. The only downside was that there is a nightclub on the ground floor and we could hear the music, even on a higher floor. Still, charming hotel and we would probably stay here again. Read less
