Element Boston Seaport District Marriott

Boston, USA

The hotel

A thoroughly modern concept in Boston hotels, Element Boston Seaport states it’s been ‘built green from the ground up’. Its eco-friendly principles don’t get in the way of style or luxuries though. Both come in abundance. The public and private spaces are slick and urban, with all the requisite clean lines, blocky furniture, and muted natural colours you’d expect from a hotel that only opened its doors in 2016. This contemporary styling’s evident in the oversized guestrooms with their full kitchens; the cosy reading nooks; the indoor pool space; and the amenities laid on, including free bicycles for exploring your Seaport surrounds, complimentary WiFi, and a ‘Rise, Restore, Relax’ dining mantra, which translates into a 24-hour gourmet pantry, complimentary breakfasts, and midweek receptions with free drinks and hors d’oeuvres.

Amenities

  • Swimming Pool

A few minutes’ walk from harbour cruise launches and the Blue Hills Pavilion amphitheatre, it’s also 1.1 miles from The Children’s Museum and Boston Tea Party Shops and Museum, 1.6 miles from New England Aquarium and Boston Common, and 1.9 miles from Faneuil Hall and the theatre district. The staff was extremely attentive and friendly, the room and the hotel overall were very clean and very well run under the pandemic conditions. We stayed in the largest room which was fully equipped with appliances including a full fridge. The seaport district is a great place in general for great restaurants and entertainment and still close enough to get into th city. I would definitely recommend and stay here again. Read less

First, we stayed here because it was a pet-friendly hotel. It was just luck that it also was well-reviewed. It's one of the few hotels we found that allows for you to leave your pet in the room, unattended. We have a boxer-mix and he enjoyed the stay also, just lounging in the room, living his best life. It's one of the few hotels we found that allows for you to leave your pet in the room, unattended. We have a boxer-mix and he enjoyed the stay also, just lounging in the room, living his best life. The hotel itself is super clean, staff was friendly and responsive to our needs, especially Camilla (sp?). I called several times with questions and it always seemed to be her that answered the phone. She was helpful and reassuring that the hotel would meet our needs. No real drawbacks to the hotel, at all. Biggest pet peeve was the placement of the toliet paper in the bathroom (it was easy to knock onto the floor) and then the main switch for lights in the room. We like to leave the bathroom light on at night and it was impossible to do that with the main switch or, at least, we couldn't find a way. I also felt comfortable with their COVID-19 protocols. Lastly, plenty of parking for guests. Overall, highly recommend. Read less

I was very excited about my stay here however I was quickly disappointed. Knowing how serious and contagious this virus is I expected the rooms to be kept very clean. When I went into the room I found a pair of old dirty underwear in the shower along with cut hair around the bathroom sink. There was dried blood on the counters by the kitchen. I called the front desk who had said I could have my room changed and they will contact the supervisor. I asked for the room to be cleaned again and for all new linen. Upon returning back to the room I found the new bed sheet had a yellow stain on them. This is completely unexpectable. I was repulsed by the lack of cleanliness. With covid 19 affecting so many people these rooms should be spotless. Read less

We travel alot throughout the year for pleasure. I found this ELEMENT HOTEL on expedia's website. Its fairly new, its in the up and coming seaport district in Boston. Check in to check out was PHENOMENAL, This was in the middle of the pandemic, so really wasnt sure what to expect. When we walked in we were pleasently surprised how bright and clean it was. We checked in, went up to our room, and room was being worked on by maintenance, i guess just a minor problem. Went back down, and the girl at the desk was so kind, she made a phone call and got the problem solved, her name was CLYNEYA (NANI), SHE WAS SO APOLOGETIC on our issue, she gave us extra points on our marriott rewards card... After getting settled in our new room, about 2 hours later the phone rang, it was her, she wanted to make sure everything was to our liking, she couldnt apologize enough on the mishap, and wanted to know if we needed anything. Throughout our whole stay, whenever we saw her, she was always so pleasent, and made sure we were enjoying our stay. Before checking out, i made sure to inform the manager/general manager how much of an asset to the ELEMENT she was, when I got home, i also called the MARRIOTT NUMBER and spoke to someone about her pleasentness (made up word).....We also encountered another gentleman by the name of WILL, he was also very good ....
