The hotel

Offering stunning views of the Boston skyline in a beautiful riverside setting, the Kimpton Marlowe Hotel prides itself on personalised service and exceptional accommodation. There's a whole host of things to see and do in the immediate area but the hotel offers a state-of-the-art fitness centre as well as the highly regarded Bambara Restaurant and Bar. A great place to relax, admire river views as you recline in deep-cushioned booths and feast on American brasserie-style cuisine. There's an emphasis on seafood dishes, accompanied, of course, by some very fine wines. Across the street from the hotel are unpaved trails, ideal for jogging, walking, biking and skating - the hotel offers complimentary bikes so grab one and explore. How about the setting, does the water tempt you? If so, there are also kayaks for complimentary use if you fancy paddling your way downstream. Spacious guest rooms are idea for larger groups and families are very well catered for with welcome packs for the kids.

This was my first time staying at this hotel and it was a great choice. The staff at the hotel especially Vallet at the front desk couldn’t have been more helpful and pleasant, The hotel is in a great location, beautiful and clean. I will stay here again!

I've been coming to Boston since I was a kid, I always stayed where my parents wanted - It took one stay on my own at the Kimpton Marlowe to know this was my spot. I first stayed here in Sept. of 2020 during COVID and I'd never felt safer at a hotel, let alone as welcome. The staff: Winston, Joseph, Valett, Sean, Rachael, - Amanda, and Peter… Read more

I first stayed here in Sept. of 2020 during COVID and I'd never felt safer at a hotel, let alone as welcome. The staff: Winston, Joseph, Valett, Sean, Rachael, - Amanda, and Peter from Bambara - of course shout out to my girl Annie and everyone else have made my stays here fantastic. I've never felt like I saw a hotel as a home in the past, but the team here makes it feel real every-time. Its a great hotel with fantastic views, great service, and fantastic amenities. Whenever I visit for work, they know where I'm staying. Read less

Vallet at the front desk greeted us with a great welcome and really brightened my day. This is the second recent stay and the team is just as positive as when I was here a few months ago. I like that continuity. Aside from the team, I suggest this location for runners looking to get a good Charles Run in. And the bottom line is that my dog Samson loves it here. We can't stay anywhere else when in the area now. :) Read less

I was happy to finally get a breath of fresh air when an employee Woody helped us with such a great attitude it changed my entire trip. DEFINATELY RECOMMEND. Since Corona hit legit every store or customer has a miserable mood.

This Kimpton has always been my favorite of the three in the area. I've been staying here for maybe the past eight years or so. The location is very convenient to the highway. The parking garage is attached and eliminates the scariness of Boston traffic and parking. They also have a fantastic restaurant off the lobby (Bambara). The staff had some turnover throughout this pandemic. They have really gelled together as a team through this and it shows. This is a property where everyone really does know your name. And if they don't when you arrive, they will by the time you leave. Staff is attentive, sincere, and caring. So refreshing in these crazy times. The hotel went through a remodel this past year. The pandemic slowed it down some, but it's finished and gorgeous. I haven't posted photos here, but the ones Marlowe shows on social media are 100% accurate. The colors are neutral. The fabrics are lush and wear well. The condition even after 6-8 months of being completed is very close to new even though this is a pet friendly hotel. The executive suites are my favorite. They are large units with separate living areas, soaking tubs, a shower, and a pass through bathroom. So much space. I love to relax here for a night in. The deluxe rooms are spacious too and some have views of the courtyard, skyline, or the Charles River. This is a special place where you will be treated like a valued guest. I'm looking forward to the next visit! Read less
