The hotel

The pride of Boston, The Boxer Hotel captures the very essence of this ever-evolving city. Originally constructed in 1904, it’s been recently renovated with an industrial chic aesthetic – occupying the city’s historic Flatiron Building, it’s as unique as it is beautiful. Finch is the hotel’s restaurant and serves simple, hearty modern American fare and hometown favourites, including New England chowder – a must taste dish! We really enjoyed our stay at the Boxer October 2022. Very safe procedures during the pandemic. Our room was clean and hotel staff was prompt with any requests. A special shout-out to Bob in the bag who stayed late to pour us a drink after an unexpectedly long travel day. Gym was okay— some weights, a treadmill, and a peloton bike (only good if… Read more

A special shout-out to Bob in the bag who stayed late to pour us a drink after an unexpectedly long travel day. Gym was okay— some weights, a treadmill, and a peloton bike (only good if you have an account, I believe). Location was good, especially if you’re doing anything at the Garden. Easy walking distance to North End and to Boston Common. Overall, pleased with our experience! Read less

Visited Boston for my Birthday this year, a place I’ve never been and wanted to explore. Our Hotel Concierge, Noah was simply awesome. I phoned late on arrival day and Noah saved me from a panic attack with assurances that our room was ready and waiting for us. In addition, Bob our waiter asked the Chef to stay a little late because we were very hungry and area restaurants were closing. It’s Staff like this that can really make a difference in having an OK trip or an EXTRAORDINARY ADVENTURE!!! Thank you so much for a Splendid visit!!!! Victoria Hess Grand Prarie, Texas Read less

Myself and eight other friends recently stayed at the Boxer for an October weekend after being unable to find an AirBNB for the Boston Marathon weekend 2021. We ended up doing a grouping of rooms plus a Junior King suite to give us room to all hangout. Our room was so spacious and the staff was very accomodating. The pullout couch in our room was pretty thin, but the staff brought up a ton of blankets and pillows and made it rather comfy. Noah, specifically, who was at the front desk made it his mission for us to have a wonderful stay and he succeeded. He was funny and went out of his way to help us with recommendations, questions about our room and any requests we had. We also did a day in Salem, MA and this hotel was about a 15 minute Uber ride from the Salem Ferry which we used to get there in the morning and only a 5-minute quick walk from the TD Garden Train Station we used to get back at night. It's also extremely close to Little Italy in Boston where we enjoyed amazing food and saw the Old North Church and Paul Revere House. There's also a quick Dunkin Donuts right around the corner for a quick coffee in the morning before you head out. I would recommend this hotel and if I'm in Boston again, I'll be back! Read less

I can not say enough about the incredible service we received at this hotel! Noah from the front desk was awesome. Remembered our names as we came in and out from activities, always had a mask on (you knew he was smiling under it though) and really is the epitome of Customer Service. The bartender was great, the hotel is cute! On the small… Read more

Very clean room, great amenities and Noah went above and beyond to help our large group. It was nice to see a happy face that also wanted to help in any way he could. This hotel was in a great location and very charming. Would recommend!
