The Boxer Hotel Boston

Boston, USA

The hotel

The pride of Boston, The Boxer Hotel captures the very essence of this ever-evolving city. Originally constructed in 1904, it’s been recently renovated with an industrial chic aesthetic – occupying the city’s historic Flatiron Building, it’s as unique as it is beautiful. Finch is the hotel’s restaurant and serves simple, hearty modern American fare and hometown favourites, including New England chowder – a must taste dish! There’s also a bar, perfect for sampling a Blueberry Cosmos perhaps or a Blue Agave Margarita

Tucked into nowhere, really, this is a great spot to just walk to you appointment, interview, or business meeting. Everyone at the front desk was super nice and very helpful. Room was smallish, but well appointed and very comfortable --- especially the bed. I'd stay there again if I had business in that 'hood. Read less

This hotel is near everything and has great restaurants within walking distance. The freedom trail is steps away. We ubered a lot - 23.00 to airport but in town 6-8 bucks! Room 203 was extremely small but the suite room 210 we had our last night was very nice- but 500.00 was way too pricey. Beds comfortable and the shampoo , conditioner , body… Read more

Hand soap and lotion were French - l’occtaine - very nice !! The front desk helped us purchase a hop on hop off bus ticket and are friendly and helpful. Parking is 50.00 a night. Read less

The water that came out of the shower was brown - and it took 3 minutes to run clear. Not a good sign. The bed was terrible - sagged in the middle. The room was quiet and the front desk staff was very friendly. It’s in a great location - they just need maintenance and mattress help. Terrible night’s sleep and shower experience. Never again.

Superior accommodation for north Boston. Myself and a snack of a beau had a one night stay for a concert night since we are out of state and are entirely too old and responsible to party AND attempt a drive home. The room was a bit small for two small-to-average adults. Example: my side of the bed is furthest from the door, but in the expedition there, I acquired multiple shin bruises from the protruding bed frame in the 16” space between bed and wardrobe. Speaking of tight spaces, the activities on the mattress were without bruising, I can vouch for the spring in the mattress and sturdiness of the headboard. Sleep was sound as well, regardless of the gin and potato chips that fueled our late night nap. I woke rested, in time to realize my iphone was 1% and as a responsible adult, I panicked knowing I forgot a charge line and scrambled downstairs to the cheery desk staff who immediately assisted me. This entire hotel was clean, I am still unsure if the theme Boxer is fisticuffs or the dog breed but I was a fan of the eclectic lobster decor and muted tones. On the subject of muted tones: I appreciated the quiet of the early morning. There were no loud moving noises or muddled negotiations with small children that we often hear in the hallways. Very clean and chic and comfortable without being stuffy. I would absolutely recommend this for a stay for a business venture or a couples getaway. Sans offspring, off course. Read less

The Boxer Hotel was great. Rooms new and clean. Restaurant was lovely and the small plates were great, inventive and featured local fare. Mitch the Manager was awesome in helping with our booking and stay.
