I booked the room for our anniversary through expedis, so I wasn't too sure if my request for a room on the top floor with a view would be fullfilled. I was pleasantly surprised when we opened up the door to our room, on the top floor of the hotel! They left a hand written note and a lovely bottle of champagne waiting for us on our special day.… Read more

I was pleasantly surprised when we opened up the door to our room, on the top floor of the hotel! They left a hand written note and a lovely bottle of champagne waiting for us on our special day. The restaurant was phenomenal, they provided us with a list of vegetarian options, the food was superb. Interesting choices, definitely a restaurant to go to if you like to try new things. Overall, the staff provided a relaxing and effortless stay for us, we will definitely return in the future. Thank you for everything! Read less

Would I stay here again? Absolutely! This is the friendliest hotel I've stayed at in the USA. From check in, bar staff, housekeeping everyone was lovely. Nothing was a problem, I had to borrow a power adapter from reception and when I mentioned there was no fridge in my room to keep some wine cold, 5 mins later one was put in my room! Great… Read more

Great location, I could walk everywhere, good coffee in the cafe downstairs and an amazing cafe 'Bonjour" around the corner with great breakfast. There was a little bit of street noise but nothing too bad, I was on L6 with a nice view across the rooftops of Boston. Read less

Great location in the center of downtown Boston. We stayed for three nights, since we were travelling with our son and daughter in law, we requested 2 rooms close to each other and in a quiet part of the building. Desk staff and doormen were extremely helpful, nothing was a problem. The rooms were extremely quiet, with many small details making the room while small, extremely comfortable. Our housekeeper, Ms. Lin, was super and did an amazing job. The best part was breakfast in the ajoining coffee shop, George Howell !! Will definitely stay here again on a future visit to Boston. The staff at the desk was incredibly nice (didn't catch their names). Arbon the doorman was a true gentleman. There were four of us in the same room and no-one felt cramped. The beds were extremely comfortable. The only reason my rating isn't a 5, is the fee that appeared on my bill at checkout. This "Urban Fee" was for $30. When asking what it… Read more

The beds were extremely comfortable. The only reason my rating isn't a 5, is the fee that appeared on my bill at checkout. This "Urban Fee" was for $30. When asking what it was for I was told it was to cover incidentals, such as k-cup coffee in the room, water etc...This seems a bit harsh since we drank no coffee. We did drink the bottle of Champagne and of 4 waters they gave us at checkout, but we were under the impression these were gestures. Also, there is no refrigerator in the room. Read less
