Very chic hotel with convenient location and great rooftop view of the Boston skyline and the river. I like the thoughtful design of their rooms too, much more modern than the other seaport hotels that I've stayed at (e.g. Renaissance & Westin), which is a big plus. Two minor complaints: first of all, stay away from their "larger guest room, no view" or "deluxe king, no view" - supposedly it's an upgrade but it's actually much worse than the base room type for a higher price tag. The window is tiny compared to other rooms, which all have floor-to-ceiling windows, and the unique layout with the bed in the center facing the window (which actually appealed to me as it would be nice when facing the water) makes no sense when you can only see a building in front of you. What's worse, it also means there's limited decoration on the two walls - that, along with the poor daylight due to the small window, made the room feel like a prison cell and gave me claustrophobia. You hardly notice the supposedly larger size. Luckily the front desk staff was very nice and friendly to switch me to a classic room, which I liked. Secondly, they do provide room service breakfast, but you can't reserve in advance and have to call them in the morning, which to me defeats the very purpose of room service breakfast. I want to wake up with my food ready so that I can get some extra minutes of sleep before rushing to work, rather than having to deal with the hassle of ordering and waiting. That would be my suggestion for improvement. Other than these I enjoyed my stay. Read less

Very friendly staff. Would highly recommend. Would definitely stay again. Great location. Easy to walk to children’s museum and the aquarium. Willing to accommodate last second. S staff was friendly and went out of the way to make you feel comfortable. Wish we could have stayed longer !

I never feel the need to write reviews but I would not recommend staying at this hotel. My husband and I went for a “luxurious” overnight child free and it was hardly that. Next time I will stick with the Boston Harbor Hotel. For $700 a night the room was small with barely any furniture. The king size bed was most likely a queen and not… Read more

Next time I will stick with the Boston Harbor Hotel. For $700 a night the room was small with barely any furniture. The king size bed was most likely a queen and not comfortable. The bathroom was pretty much open to the room and we got 2 complimentary bottles of water, plastic cups and a broken coffee maker. No room service at night, not even an ice bucket or glasses, and the menu for the AM had about 5 options on it. The best was upon checking in we were given a free upgrade…i guess the the 3rd floor to the 6th, which just put us close enough to the roof top bar to hear the party well into the night. I expected so much more and then some for what they charge. Read less

Stayed in Envoy for 3 nights with my family. We took 2 rooms, double beds each. Double beds rooms do not have harbor view. Every time it turns on/ turns off- it sounds like a thunder. Will not recommend/ will not stay again in Boston or any other locations after this experience Read less

We reserved a suite with the understanding there would be a separate room to put our 7 month old to bed and when we arrived we found one small room with no space. The bathroom has a cheap sliding glass door that does not provide full privacy. It’s very awkward if sharing the room with another person. The restaurant was closed on the first floor… Read more

The bathroom has a cheap sliding glass door that does not provide full privacy. It’s very awkward if sharing the room with another person. The restaurant was closed on the first floor which was not notated at booking. Our room which was “harbor view” overlooked a 4 lane intersection and a sliver of the harbor and we still paid approximately $650 a night. The manager and front desk person were not helpful at all, in fact, they were awful. DO NOT STAY HERE. Read less
