We stayed one night as a getaway and splurged for the corner junior suite. We've loved staying in the Seaport in the past - the vibe is great and seeing the water from our hotel room is always rejuvenating, particularly during the winter. Our room looked directly over the Barking Crab, which is fine - I actually have always had a fondness for the Barking Crab, but the water view was limited. While the room was quite spacious - roomy enough for a small modern love seat, a chair with tucked in ottoman, and a desk - and the floor-to-ceiling windows lent to the spacious feel, I just wasn't feeling the funky vibe. The bicycle-as-TV-stand seemed unnecessary, and the stall-like toilet left little in the way of privacy. I appreciate the lights, but many of the fixtures were quite small and we didn't find one tiny light switch until the next morning. Other light switches were tucked in funky places - it was like a treasure hunt figuring it all out. The robe was nice, although a second one for hubby would have been appreciated. Mostly, we found the room noisy. Lots of street noise during the night (Saturday), and lots of airplane activity starting around 7am (Sunday). We've stayed at many airport hotels that have figured out how to sound proof against jets taking off. I wish Envoy had figured that out here. On the positive side, check in and the front desk staff were great, the room was spotless, and our late night room service cheeseburgers and fries were absolutely excellent. We had a great winter escape, but feel we paid a lot for funkiness that maybe isn't for us, and we'll look for a quieter location next time. Read less

I really enjoyed my time at the envoy. The room was perfect! I especially loved the glass in the bathroom, very nice feel in there. Cool waterfall shower too! The bed was nice, and our view of the water was great. The only thing I'd complain about is that the remote for the TV wasn't great. We even went to breakfast down in the lobby area, and… Read more

Loved the welcome amenity of a selection of desserts to start our Christmas holidays. We had a room that faced the harbor and the toiletries were spot on! You had me at the makeup removers and the nail polish removers were a bonus. We didn’t get to experience the restaurant but the rooftop bar was amazing with the igloo type outdoor bar seating. Great Boston hotel and perfect if you have an early flight out of Logan. Thank you Marriott Autograph selection for a fabulous stay. Read less

Ultra modern hotel in central location with better than average food selection. So upscale that you will need a tutorial to operate the light switches and shower. Great central location next to Boston Harbor and good eating establishments.
