Customer service here is sub par. Diamond members mean almost nothing to this property. Might just be a Waikiki thing, but if you’re looking for a Hilton hotel, look closer to the water. Better location, and better quality than this place. Don’t expect any benefits such as upgrades if you’re a diamond member. They will claim they are sold out, but won’t even look even though there are plenty of rooms available online. Rooms are dated. Our sofa bed was not made, dirty, and covered with hair. Again, look elsewhere Read less

As Gold Members, we got a $30 breakfast credit. Breakfast didn’t open until 7am and it would take 45-60mins to get our food. This kept us from doing the things we flew half way around the World to do until later in the morning…every day.

No amenities available after being told so. Food left in my room from previous guests, no blue stickers on remote or door to show it was clean as constantly advertised on their screens at the hotel. One particular front office staff was rude to us when I asked to check out late and on a different date because my mission changed, then went to check… Read more

One particular front office staff was rude to us when I asked to check out late and on a different date because my mission changed, then went to check out she made it seem like we didn’t ask and when we told her we did she asked who we told and we said her. From there she continued to be rude. Read less

Very disappointed in this stay. This is my first time to Hawaii and I brought my family. I used all the points I’ve accumulated in the last year to stay at the double tree. Very disappointed in this stay. This is my first time to Hawaii and I brought my family. I used all the points I’ve accumulated in the last year to stay at the double tree. I even paid extra to be upgraded to the penthouse level and stay on the 19th floor. Here are the complaints. This is the worse bed I have ever slept on in a Hilton Residence. You can feel the cheap springs poke you in the bed but anytime you shift your weight the bed makes noises. Me and my wife were up all night because of how much noise this bed made. The lights by the bed don’t work either. That was frustrating because while our toddler slept we tried to look at stuff in bed but couldn’t see without having the main light on which would keep our toddler up or use the flashlights on our phone. But then there are no outlets even near the bed to plug in your phone or anything else. And then after giving our son a bath it took the tub over an hour to drain. I went and talked to the front desk this morning to see if I could change to another room with our upgrade and I was told no. I asked if we could have our original room and be refunded the upgrade cost for one out of the two nights and I was told no. This was very disappointing and disheartening. I was pretty much told to deal with it.I have been loyal to Hilton and it’s Hilton honors rewards program all through COVID and the past year and a half. I stayed at Hilton’s all through the country and then I finally use my Hilton points that I have saved and it wasn’t worth it. For it being a penthouse I expected so much better. And then to not be helped or even come up with a solution really rubbed me the wrong way. Read less

You have to be a pro to park in that garage and it’s a couple blocks from the beach walk but the brewery next door was convenient and 7-11 was across the street and watch out for the homeless people!!
