One of my favorite disney resorts in the mid range. Staff was superb . We stayed in a Tiana suite. The grounds are lovely and the 0 entry pool was amazing! Fiber optic fireworks on the headboards and genie lamp shaped faucets. The attention to detail was great. Would definitely stay again.

Second trip to this resort. We have stayed in Magnolia Bend and Alliagtor Bayou and loved both of them! We thought about booking a deluxe hotel for our next trip but we love Riverside so much that we didnt want to travel all the way to Orlando and not stay there again! Highly recommend

The grounds are beautiful as well as the pool area with the cocktail bar which is a lot of fun. The buffet self serve has a wide variety of good food with a very pleasant large eating area. That area accommodates small and large groups. On some evenings the pub hosts a talented fun piano player who includes people of all ages. Going there after the parks is really fun. One of our favorite things about this resort is the option of taking a boat to and from Disney Springs . My husband loves this. The cost is reasonable although it does increase during busy seasons. We love the fall the best. I've had many good experiences here with my family of 6 and now with my husband. I'm hoping to take my grandsons there soon. Read less

It was so peaceful when I would take morning walks each morning. We stayed in alligator bayou building 16 which was an excellent location. It was tight by a quiet pool, which was not crowded at all. It was a very close walk to dining, lobby and south depot. Buses ran smoothly. We had a room with a 5th sleeper. My 6 year old slept on the Murphy bed and had plenty of room to spare so an older child would be fine as well. Rooms were clean, updated and nicely decorated! Great resort for a moderate resort. We will return here for sure!!!! Read less

This wasn't great as it turned out hence the review title and general lack of choices at the hotel and parks Shulas Steakhouse, The best dining experience of my life!!!!!!! The parks, good and bad. Vast areas of Epcot closed off (apparently extensive work taking place for 2021) sorry but looking at fences is not part of the Disney experience !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and no Splash Mountain Star Wars, Toy Story and Avatar = great additions Riverside for some reason didn't feel quite as good as French Quarter (stayed 5 years earlier) but then again my daughter preferred it Love Disney and want to mention our daughter had her birthday during this visit and a few little touches during the day were great Read less
