Terrific hotel. To a person, every staff member goes out of the way to make your stay pleasant, whether it is asking Eric the concierge the best way to get to College Park, MD for a football game, bell captains providing spot-on advice when Uber doesn't show up for your previously scheduled ride, etc.

A very nice hotel with lovely views, friendly staff. Walking distance to a lot of great attractions. Gorgeous hotel and very comfortable room. There is no sauna here, despite what the website says - only a hot tub and indoor pool. The hot tub didn't function properly during my stay, but it was a great facility otherwise. Just disappointed there… Read more

Great hotel close to Georgetown. Large and nice rooms and professional staff. One night the neighbors made lots of noise and they gave me another room. The gym is a bit too small - it gets easily crowded in the mornings.

Perfect for a staycation in DC. Luxurious room, great pool, plus great access to Gtown. Used amex FHR benefits and had great breakfast, room upgrade and late checkout. Had an issue at dinner but it was very professionally resolved by the front desk.

The room and bathroom weren't very clean. The sink stopper did not work. I had to try to use my hand to open it every time the sink was full of water. Walls had dirty marks. Duvet cover had unidentifiable red marks on it. Had to request a replacement 3 times. Instead of a replacement comforter they kept offering me sheets. When I finally received the replacement comforter, it had a huge hole in the duvet cover. The rooms smelled like housekeeping tried to cover up cigarette smoke. I didn’t receive the best greeting during check in. I was never asked if I was a World Hyatt member I was just asked for a card. When checking out, the front desk checkout person was kind of rude. She didn’t smile and she never asked me if I enjoyed my stay. The rooms are definitely not wide enough for wheel chair users to comfortably navigate corners. The only feature that distinguishes a regular room from an ADA room are the few hand rails in bathroom. I totally disliked the bottles of body wash, shampoo and conditioner stacked together and not made for individual use. Anyone could have put harmful liquid in bottle. It’s also not hygienic. The rain shower head was sort of clogged, so I was unable to use it. Neither the hotel or service was 5 star in my opinion. The hotel definitely doesn’t offer any service or make disabled individuals feel welcomed. The day before check in, I sent an email asking about some of the negative reviews regarding bed bugs, awful customer service and disrespectful concierge. I received a response totally ignoring my concerns. I do appreciate my request to be on the same floor as my assistant was granted. The BDT room service, breakfast and dinner were good, but inconsistent. There are other 5 star hotels in the area offering better service. Read less
