This is by a large margin the worst airport hotel I have been to in years (and I travel a lot). This is by a large margin the worst airport hotel I have been to in years (and I travel a lot). Let me start with the good news: It is rather conveniently located, even though it is less in the terminal than you might think. From then on, it goes downhill. The worst of all: Given immense prices, it does not offer free internet in the room. When you pay 13 dollars for it to get some work done, you realize that it is so ridiculously slow that you cannot remotely connect. So I could not even write this review in the hotel, let alone work. I spent my day sitting on the floor in a cold corridor at Dulles airport to have internet access and a power outlet. This is unacceptable for an airport hotel. Then, when I asked for an adaptor connecting European plugs to American sockets (as mine just got broken), they said they did not have this. Again, a ridiculous attitude at one of the most international of all airports. Then, everything else is also not impressive. The building is totally off the mill. Rooms are small and dark and suffer from the in the US not uncommon issue that one cannot properly light them. Obviously, it is also loud, but this I would not take so much against it. The entrance hall is crammed, loud, uninviting. I invite hotel managers to come here. Look at the hotel, do the opposite. I give two points just out of mercy, not that I see much substance. This hotel is absolutely terrible. Read less

The restaurant bar area was friendly and welcoming and our server really was a nice man. Offering us advice on the food and cocktails and delivering the quickly and with a smile on his face. The bed was comfortable and there was certainly enough room for us to re-pack our bags ready for the early morning departure. On arrival in the lobby for the first shuttle to the terminal, there was a coffee station, but no hot water for tea, only coffee, The only thing I have to say about the room,s that in the morning the shower took a while to warm up, whether this was due to many people getting up super early ( which I doubt) or the fact that this is a huge property, it did take several minutes to get the water temperature to the level I like. Also as a renovated hotel, I would have thought that on renovating the hotel they would have removed the tubs and put in double stall showers. People are not staying here for weeks on vacation, this is an airport hotel serving guests coming in and out of the city. The shuttle service drivers were delightful, helpful and friendly in the face of some guests who behaved rudely and in a most unfriendly manner. Read less

I stayed at this hotel after a conference as I had an early morning flight out and didn't want to be too far away. The staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful. The shuttle in the morning was prompt and the driver friendly. Read less

The housekeepers don’t keep track on when the hotel guess check out. They tried to get into my room 3 times with my DND sign hung. They just basically knocked, yelled out housekeeping and enter. They knocked on my door 2 hours after I checked in and ask me when I will be checking out. They were vacuuming next room at 2300 making so much noise.

This hotel is OK for an airport hotel. The gym is better than most, but not exactly amazing. This hotel is OK for an airport hotel. The gym is better than most, but not exactly amazing. My only major complaint was booking a King bed room as a lifetime Platinum and finding the bed to actually be a double bed in a very small room. The way the room was laid out you would not easily notice just looking at it. When you lay down and your feet are practically hanging off the end is when it is easy to see. The bed was not exactly comfortable either. I did not experience major issues, but did not really feel recognized for my status. Especially when the room is not actually the bed size booked. I wonder how many people actually notice. This hotel is not as clean as many full service Marriott's, but maybe I passed through on a bad week for them. Read less
