Bally's Hotel and Casino

The Strip, Las Vegas

Virgin rating

The hotel

With unwavering service, comprehensive dining and amenities that are second to none, it’s no doubt Bally’s has been welcoming excited guests for over 30 years now! There’s the casino of course, with its traditional reels, video poker, slots machines and roulette tables but, if Lady Luck and you have been flirting too much, head on over to the oversized poolside instead — it’s rocking. And yes, we do mean literally, with DJ music, private cabanas and plenty of shaded areas thanks to the palm trees! Or perhaps a game of tennis might tempt you? The complex here is one of the largest on the Strip with eight floodlit courts to choose from. Golfers will appreciate a free tee session at one of two nearby golf courses or shop ‘til you drop at Bally’s Avenue. It’s not just about the gambling in Las Vegas, there’s the shows as well and Bally’s plays host to some of the best.

Worst hotel ever. My fiance and I took pictures of the filth. Roaches, mold, an air filter with an inch of dust, the carpet was so dirty our feet were black after walking on it and the musty smell was just horrendous. After our first night we both started exhibiting strange allergic type reactions, headaches that were debilitating and sinus drainage like nothing I have ever seen or experienced before. Literally a water faucet of mucus draining from our noses without stopping for 2 whole days. That's when we started looking and found the mold, dust and bugs. Within 20 mins after that I changed our flights to come home that day. Management did nothing for us to rectify the issue financially. Oh, same by the way I paid to upgrade our room upon check-in. What a joke. This place ruined a trip I was so excited about. Don't stay here, it may be a bargain but your trip will be ruined. Read less

Have been staying at Ballys my last 4 trips. All have been great stays. The biggest downfall is that they need firmer pillows. Something that offers some support of the head instead of your face being suffocated. Being a ciggarette smoker, I appreciate having a smoking floor of rooms, however did not care for the pot smell in the hallways, but then again not everyone likes my ciggarette smoke either. I have found my rooms to be quite clean, and everything in working order. All staff I encountered friendly, but can see that they are still short staffed, but everyone there seemed to be working hard, and smiling. Thankfully my phone had correct time as the clock in my room was completley screwed up and I could not get it to correctly set. I have found the rooms to be spacious, plenty of outlets, and clean. A coffee maker would make my stay better tho!! Will not hesitate to book my next stay at Ballys. Read less

I thought my total charge for the package including flight/hotel was transparent when booking on Expedia. When I got to Bally's I was informed there is a $55. per night resort fee. Why was I not told this during the booking process?

I stayed there in September. I would just recommend to change the colours of the room, because they already look old-fashioned. Everything else was great! The pool is big and clean and the casino is nice.
