Bally's Hotel and Casino

The Strip, Las Vegas

Virgin rating

The hotel

With unwavering service, comprehensive dining and amenities that are second to none, it’s no doubt Bally’s has been welcoming excited guests for over 30 years now! There’s the casino of course, with its traditional reels, video poker, slots machines and roulette tables but, if Lady Luck and you have been flirting too much, head on over to the oversized poolside instead — it’s rocking. And yes, we do mean literally, with DJ music, private cabanas and plenty of shaded areas thanks to the palm trees! Or perhaps a game of tennis might tempt you? The complex here is one of the largest on the Strip with eight floodlit courts to choose from. Golfers will appreciate a free tee session at one of two nearby golf courses or shop ‘til you drop at Bally’s Avenue. It’s not just about the gambling in Las Vegas, there’s the shows as well and Bally’s plays host to some of the best.

Hotel room was great! We had a view of the strip next to Paris, fantastic! Staff was helpful and courteous. Pool was clean and cool. Very refreshing. My only complaint, I know it’s Vegas and I know I am going to pay more for items. But paying $9.75 for a small bottle of Gatorade is extreme. It’s hard to swallow when you work in grocery and you… Read more

We checked in using the machines as we were directed to do. We were told we would get an E-mail telling us when our room was ready. No such E-mail ever arrived. We finally went back to the check in area and were told we had to check in again because we didn't check in at all before. AWFUL simply AWFUL The breakfast options at the hotel were… Read more

Stayed at Bally's from Sunday 8th thru Friday 13th May. Second time (1st was in 2008!). Solo trip. Easy enough check-in. Got room I requested (Resort Tower, Non-smoking King, High Floor). Even got a slight view of Bellagio fountains! Nice sized bedroom, loads of space, safe, fridge (yesssss), comfy and large bed. Many outlets to keep phone… Read more

Even got a slight view of Bellagio fountains! Nice sized bedroom, loads of space, safe, fridge (yesssss), comfy and large bed. Many outlets to keep phone charged. Bathroom was fine, shower worked well, WC flushed, nice back lighting. Housekeeping was great - clean towels everyday. Floor was quiet although a bit of a walk to the lifts. Apart from the furniture which is starting to look dated (I have seen worse - Luxor I am looking at you!) it was a very pleasant stay. Read less

I'll keep this easy to read: 1. At check in, ceiling adjacent to check-in counter was badly water damaged. 2. Terrazzo floor tile wall base cracked, poorly maintained. 3. Self check-in kiosk rejected my check-in attempt because they re-assigned my room with a king sized bed away to another guest. The above areas are highly visible to the… Read more
I'll keep this easy to read: 1. At check in, ceiling adjacent to check-in counter was badly water damaged. 2. Terrazzo floor tile wall base cracked, poorly maintained. 3. Self check-in kiosk rejected my check-in attempt because they re-assigned my room with a king sized bed away to another guest. The above areas are highly visible to the public. You'd think they put more effort into maintaining this area. 4. Room smelled like an ash try (pot, cigar and cigarette smoke). 5. Hallway smells "stale". 6. My bathroom wallpaper in my room was separating from the wall. 7. Bathroom vanity damaged (requires replacement). 8. Black mold under lip of bathroom sink. 9. Someone's dried (used) contact lens was left on nightstand. Housekeeping failed to see and clean this. 10. Soiled latex gloves from housekeeping thrown on floor between bed and wall. 11. Light fixtures dusty. Room not cleaned properly in general. 12. The two restaurants they have were closed. Unsure whether they intend on reopening them. Your only choice for dining is a burger bar, Nathan's, Johnny Rockets, Chinese joint, Sbarro, and Subway. Read less

Beautiful hotel! It was located right where all the action is, so many things to do! only negative was there wasn’t many options for food at the hotel and Wi-Fi was about $15 per day, other than that I would definitely come back.
