Bally's Hotel and Casino

The Strip, Las Vegas

The hotel

With unwavering service, comprehensive dining and amenities that are second to none, it’s no doubt Bally’s has been welcoming excited guests for over 30 years now! There’s the casino of course, with its traditional reels, video poker, slots machines and roulette tables but, if Lady Luck and you have been flirting too much, head on over to the oversized poolside instead — it’s rocking. And yes, we do mean literally, with DJ music, private cabanas and plenty of shaded areas thanks to the palm trees! Or perhaps a game of tennis might tempt you? The complex here is one of the largest on the Strip with eight floodlit courts to choose from. Golfers will appreciate a free tee session at one of two nearby golf courses or shop ‘til you drop at Bally’s Avenue. It’s not just about the gambling in Las Vegas, there’s the shows as well and Bally’s plays host to some of the best. Feel like you’re attending an actual wedding — Tony n’ Tina’s to be precise, or take a step to the left with the cast of the Rocky Horror Picture Show. Dining at Bally’s can be sumptuous with bottomless Champagne, caviar and lobster or play it simple and grab a martini and an appetiser at the Steakhouse Bar.

The location is amazing. The facility is run down. Common areas are disgusting. I seen a lady let her dog urinate on the hall wall. The resort fee is a complete rip off. The WiFi did not work. The A/C could not keep up in the room. There is nothing exceptional or amazing about Bally’s to draw people in. People were loud you could hear music at all… Read more

The A/C could not keep up in the room. There is nothing exceptional or amazing about Bally’s to draw people in. People were loud you could hear music at all hours from rooms. Check in lines seemed to always be long. It was sufficient to go shower, sleep, and head out. There’s a lot of potential here, but it needs some major tlc. My stay wasn’t absolutely horrible, and my trip wasn’t ruined. This just isn’t a place to go for anything except the basics. The room has a fridge, but not a microwave so that’s an inconvenience. Although the room looked great the air conditioner wasn’t powerful enough to cook it.. so we had a hot, muggy room to sleep in while it was over 100 degrees in LV. Trying to call the front desk was a joke.. after sitting on hold numerous times we only got someone to answer about half of the time.

Pros: loved the location, close to CVS Connects to Paris but watch out for that cosmetics store. I mistakingly made eye contact with a girl and took an eye cream sample🤣 Cons: given 2 towels for our 3 night stay plus no room service. We did text and were given extra towels so that was good. AC didn’t cool down enough and wouldn’t go below 68. We… Read more

AC didn’t cool down enough and wouldn’t go below 68. We woke up sweating every night and would check the thermostat. It said 68, but there’s no way that it was. No coffee maker in the rooms. The coffee bar downstairs was way overpriced. I could’ve gone to Starbucks and it would’ve been cheaper. The pool wasn’t worth going to. Nothing special. Read less

This place has given up the ghost. Filthy carpets, dust in the room. Terrible gaming table odds --- they are trying to make back their Covid losses. Room service was shut down as is the steak house. 20 minute hold when you dial the front desk. $ 69 resort fee and not so much as a bottle of water in the room! You are much better off going to… Read more
