Bally's Hotel and Casino

The Strip, Las Vegas

The hotel

With unwavering service, comprehensive dining and amenities that are second to none, it’s no doubt Bally’s has been welcoming excited guests for over 30 years now! There’s the casino of course, with its traditional reels, video poker, slots machines and roulette tables but, if Lady Luck and you have been flirting too much, head on over to the oversized poolside instead — it’s rocking. And yes, we do mean literally, with DJ music, private cabanas and plenty of shaded areas thanks to the palm trees! Or perhaps a game of tennis might tempt you? The complex here is one of the largest on the Strip with eight floodlit courts to choose from. Golfers will appreciate a free tee session at one of two nearby golf courses or shop ‘til you drop at Bally’s Avenue. It’s not just about the gambling in Las Vegas, there’s the shows as well and Bally’s plays host to some of the best. Feel like you’re attending an actual wedding — Tony n’ Tina’s to be precise, or take a step to the left with the cast of the Rocky Horror Picture Show. Dining at Bally’s can be sumptuous with bottomless Champagne, caviar and lobster or play it simple and grab a martini and an appetiser at the Steakhouse Bar.

Room was never cleaned during my week stay “due to COVID issues”. This wasn’t an issue at the Venitian. Also, they have bed bugs. Also, the hotel is a total dive. Don’t go here unless you’re broke and can’t afford something a little better.

Many disappointed things beyond Bally's control which they could have mentioned and saved us time by that. One the monorail was closed yet no mention until you walked to the station. Could have placed a sign at he bottom of the escalator. Same thing with the pool. No need to walk all the way there to find out closed and need to walk to… Read more
Many disappointed things beyond Bally's control which they could have mentioned and saved us time by that. One the monorail was closed yet no mention until you walked to the station. Could have placed a sign at he bottom of the escalator. Same thing with the pool. No need to walk all the way there to find out closed and need to walk to Paris and use that pool. The strip was really dirty, you need to get on the city to clean it up. Broken glass and butts everywhere, not one days worth of dirt. Even the walkways cement all cracked up, much need of steam cleaning and repairs. Starting to look really ghetto like. Was really surprised. Read less

Dirty hotel and dirty rooms. Beer cans were left over from previous guests. Room smelled of weed. Room not vacuumed. not a pleasant experience. old towels and smelled terrible. hotel not worth it. although it was cheapest at the time on the strip.

First off let me say the location is fantastic. Everything from there on was average at best. The hotel itself, even after the return fills a bit dated. There has been no real effort to resemble a premium resort but more just to keep it up enough to justify resort fees. The pool needs a good deal of work and the rooms (we had suites) have beat up… Read more

There has been no real effort to resemble a premium resort but more just to keep it up enough to justify resort fees. The pool needs a good deal of work and the rooms (we had suites) have beat up furniture and dated carpets. The bathroom upgrades were quite nice. The best part of the hotel is being able to easily use Paris as your home resort. Read less

We stayed on the 23rd floor at Bally’s. Our room overlooked Flamingo Blvd and was very, very noisy. The room was fine with the exception that they don’t provide daily cleaning or towel replacement. When we asked housekeeping for towels they were very rude and said they could not give us anything from their cart. We finally received new towels on our last day. Our trash was overflowing by the time we left. Another problem was the smell of weed in our room. Someone around us smoked all the time and our room also smelled of it. We did go to the pool and it was ok. If you are looking for a great pool in Vegas there are others much better. Our drinks were $29 each so we had a hefty bill. One of the large escalators was broken 3 of the 4 days we were here. The hotel was overall clean and comfortable, but a few things could be better. Read less
