Bally's Hotel and Casino

The Strip, Las Vegas

The hotel

With unwavering service, comprehensive dining and amenities that are second to none, it’s no doubt Bally’s has been welcoming excited guests for over 30 years now! There’s the casino of course, with its traditional reels, video poker, slots machines and roulette tables but, if Lady Luck and you have been flirting too much, head on over to the oversized poolside instead — it’s rocking. And yes, we do mean literally, with DJ music, private cabanas and plenty of shaded areas thanks to the palm trees! Or perhaps a game of tennis might tempt you? The complex here is one of the largest on the Strip with eight floodlit courts to choose from. Golfers will appreciate a free tee session at one of two nearby golf courses or shop ‘til you drop at Bally’s Avenue. It’s not just about the gambling in Las Vegas, there’s the shows as well and Bally’s plays host to some of the best. Feel like you’re attending an actual wedding — Tony n’ Tina’s to be precise, or take a step to the left with the cast of the Rocky Horror Picture Show. Dining at Bally’s can be sumptuous with bottomless Champagne, caviar and lobster or play it simple and grab a martini and an appetiser at the Steakhouse Bar.

This hotel has a smaller selection of machines for gaming. As it is part of Caesars group, you can find more gaming at one of the other hotels. Your players card is valid at all the group of hotels. This was an older property.

The hotel was clean and everything looked very nice. However, they lacked basic amenities such as hair conditioner. We also had to buy water from the store each morning as there was no other option for drinking water. One night our room did not get cleaned at all.

My husband and I have stayed in Vegas many times. From MGM, Caesar’s, Venetian, Harrah’s, Aria to now Bally’s. Each resort has had something special to offer and in Vegas. Overall, check in and out was seamless. House keeping has been great as well. We found the rooms clean and towels always restocked. The Bally’s casino isn’t my top pick for casino unfortunately. A few good slot games, tables are subpar - however, I wouldn’t spend my entire night here especially as someone who enjoys Vegas for gambling. Overall, anywhere you go in Vegas - you’ll receive wonderful service. Each night in Vegas, as we play the slots, we ask for a couple bottles of water to cool off before we head to bed. I’ve always found the cocktail waitresses genuinely friendly and outgoing. On our last night, as I sat down to play my luck, my husband asked the waitress, Tatiana, for a bottle of water each. She proceeded with MUCH attitude, as we had to be playing. Gotcha. I was already sitting down, money in machine, to play while my husband had to get up to get her attention but I guess some people enjoy the feeling important. We must have waited at least 20 minutes before she came back to take the order. Finally, she shows up with water with a side of an eye roll. I asked for water, not 4 tequila shots. Calm down. I regret even tipping her, but I NEVER in my wildest dreams would’ve expected such a rude and unpleasant reaction. I asked if my request for water was a bother for her - where she proceeded to ask me “excuse me? Do you want me to call security?” I’m not quite sure who’s training the Bally’s staff but that’s definitely not how you treat your guests. As I said before, a big reason I enjoy Vegas is the casinos. You’ll receive MUCH better service with people who actually seem to ENJOY their jobs anywhere else. I know that they’re associated with the Caesar’s but the two hotels really can’t be compared casino and service wise. It’s such a shame that one disappointing experience can change a perspective of an entire hotel. I definitely won’t be staying here again. Vegas is known for its impeccable service, wonderful nightlife, superb dining and is loaded with attractions. If you don’t mind dealing with arrogant casino staff, the hotel is alright otherwise. It’s too bad because as I’m reading the reviews - most of them seem to mention unfriendly staff. If you want to really get to see Vegas for what it has to offer - go. anywhere. else. Read less

Love this strip hotel. Was in Vegas working and the location was perfect. Easy and painless check in process. Nice and clean room, updated and a great view. Wireless worked great. The king bed provided a great sleep. Always great to return to Bally's

Could stay here forever, what an amazing hotel. Rooms were lovely - jacuzzi in the middle of the room, great view of the strip. Hotel was super busy, thousands of guests staying. The casino areas are also really good with daily poker tournaments for all levels are available. Didn't want to leave this place, and will definitely book again. Housekeeping staff very friendly but the two reception staff I spoke with during my stay were both a little rude, disengaged and almost had an 'auto-pilot' feel to the conversation... No means a deal-breaker but don't expect a warm welcome to this lovely hotel. Read less
