We stayed at the hotel for one night before checking in elsewhere (this was planned and has nothing to do with the service at the Strat.) and for what the Strat is, I thought it was a comfortable stay! This is the absolute worst experience I have ever had in any hotel in the world. The entire lobby smelled like 100 year old cigarette butts. There were 2-3 staff working with dozens of people trying to check-in. We were in line STANDING From 2am -5am. No relief came in when staff left. No one came through the line to answer questions or assist in… Read more

Long, slow Check-in Lines should have been our 1st indicator of how our 3 night stay would go. It got much worse. Long, slow Check-in Lines should have been our 1st indicator of how our 3 night stay would go. It got much worse. Issued wrong room after having to wait 3 hours for it after initial check-in (our second long line journey just to be issued room key). After retrieving luggage from our friends room where we stored it while waiting for ours to be ready, we made our way to our assigned room to find we were issued the WRONG ROOM! A 3rd journey through the abysmal line to have it switched, we navigated a filthy hallway to our room - to find that it contained no towels. 4th wait in line to simply request towels - we're told that they were 'out of towels'! Worst Hotel I've ever encountered on the Las Vegas Strip. AVOID!! Read less

We didn’t visit for the hotel (thankfully) but to eat lunch, see a show and shop. The experience was miserable. The Strat is located in a dangerous area and both our drivers told us not to ever leave the hotel and walk around. One won’t even drive there at night. The public area is dark, smelly, and dank. There are virtually no nice shops and 80% of those were closed at noon. Only one of four sit down restaurants were open and the open one was unappealing. AND for a reason no one could explain to us there were SWAT team members in full dress walking all around. We left never ever to return. Read less

This was the worst horrible that I have ever stayed at and I have been to 3rd World Countries. I will never ever stay again and I will tell anyone i know going to Vegas to never go to this hotel. It started day #1 when my flight was delayed, so I got in late about 2a due to the delay to the Hotel from the airline. However, once i got to the hotel with my luggage I had to wait another hour to process into my room that i paid for already. The self check-in didn't work from the phone, so i couldn't get into my room until a little after 3a. After that I went up stairs my card didn't work, so i had to lug my luggage back down and go back up after a long line and day at the airport at 3a. Mind you that during my 3 day stay Thursday thru Monday my card would fail 4 times to get me into my room. The restroom was hairy with pubes, the bed had stains and the lobby had more prostitutes talking to me inside than my entire time outside walking the strip. This was horrible stay and on top you charged me a resort fee that i never used at the end. Read less
