Little Good Harbour

Barbados, Caribbean

The hotel

A little piece of real Barbados, this collection of suites sits in a peaceful fishing village, along a stretch of white sunbed-sprinkled sands. Part of its unique charm comes from its beautiful 18th century fort, beautiful gardens along with two serene pools and a spa. This luxury hotel’s handy spot near Speightstown gives you plenty of options for dinners out – but many locals choose to visit Little Good Harbour itself, to feast at The Fish Pot. Set inside the historic fort, it’s one of the island’s most famous and fabulous restaurants, featuring coastal classics like Caribbean lobster

We stayed here (wife and 14 & 16 year old) in Dec. It was amazing. We had been before and loved it - and they’ve improved even more (more spacious restaurant, bigger beachfront bar). Food, service, staff, social distancing/hygiene etc - spot-on. Location on beach, stunning. Will return.

One of my fave hotels ever - really relaxed vibe and beautifully laid out. Great to have Fish Pot restaurant (not cheap, but some amazing dishes) and excellent diving shop (BarbadoScuba) on site. Some road noise but never really an issue. All forgotten too given exemplary service.

A comfortable duplex room with two balconies (sea view from the upper), plenty of space and a handy little kitchen gave us the best of both worlds, hotel and villa. The service and staff were excellent and it was so handy being able to nip over the the Fish Pot restaurant.

We stayed in the Twin Oceanfront Fort Suite located above the Restaurant. The room was magnificent, with a huge living room / kitchen, a spacious dining and lounging upstairs patio area open to the sea, and two very spacious bedrooms with large en-suite bathrooms. The décor is rustic, with shutters on the windows, and artistic use of driftwood to create the seaside atmosphere. From the dining / lounging patio we could see sunsets each evening while listening to the breaking waves below. The bedrooms were air conditioned, very comfortable and free of mosquitos. Though extravagant for us to take the two-bedroom suite, it was well worth the additional expense. Despite the comments of others about the noise from the busses, we were only occasionally even aware of them, and it was certainly not a problem even though the room is adjacent to the road. We ate in the Fish Pot several evenings, trying out their new menu, and were delighted with the meals. The owner and the managers were always around and very friendly and helpful in a laid-back manner that felt totally appropriate to the location and style of the place, and the restaurant staff were attentive and friendly. Highly Recommended! Read less
