Little Good Harbour

Barbados, Caribbean

The hotel

A little piece of real Barbados, this collection of suites sits in a peaceful fishing village, along a stretch of white sunbed-sprinkled sands. Part of its unique charm comes from its beautiful 18th century fort, beautiful gardens along with two serene pools and a spa. This luxury hotel’s handy spot near Speightstown gives you plenty of options for dinners out – but many locals choose to visit Little Good Harbour itself, to feast at The Fish Pot. Set inside the historic fort, it’s one of the island’s most famous and fabulous restaurants, featuring coastal classics like Caribbean lobster

Wow what a place. Every part of our trip was perfect from the accommodation to the food in the fish pot restaurant. The staff are so attentive and keen to plead nothing was a problem. The beach was just amazing. The photos online just don’t sell this place. It’s a must visit place. We can’t wait to get back. Thank you to all of Andrews team.

Stayed at Little Good Harbour for seven nights in July. Had a lovely comfortable villa with a lounge area and kitchen downstairs and a bedroom and bathroom upstairs. Staff were helpful , friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The lower swimming pool is shaded with a sail. This is a great idea as it means you can enjoy an outdoor pool experience out of the sun. The hotel is just across the road from the restaurant which is located right on a lovely stretch of unspoilt beach. So it is just a 2 min walk to the beach with loungers and umbrellas. All in all a great place to stay. Read less

Just sometimes if you’re really lucky you find places that know how to give excellent service .Not flashy or in your face but just intuitive, attentive and thoughtful . That is little good Harbour, Led by the owner Andrew who looks after and overseas everything the whole crew are fantastic. The accommodation we had was a three bedroom villa which was pretty much perfect in every way and we wanted for nothing. The broadband is excellent. The daily housekeeping service was impeccable. The whole overall experience was something so memorable but appeared effortless as all excellent service ever does. The fish pot restaurant was mouthwatering and wonderful and congratulations to all the team who run it. Also a special mention to Joans Snackette and bar down the road which is a great place for a less quiet beer. If we are lucky enough we will return and thank you for a wonderful holiday . Read less

What you see and read on their site is absolutely accurate, but what you won't see is what really makes the difference.....THE STAFF. Welcoming and warm, always there to help and to make sure that you have what you need, suggestions on what to do, island life, etc. From the owner, Andrew, to the front desk staff, gardeners, housekeepers and security....you couldn't ask for a better team. This is now our #1 "go to" place in the world....our new "home away from home". Local Barbados, with one of the island's best restaurants -- The Fish Pot -- you won't find any better. Thank you Andrew.....hope to see you soon. Read less
