Infinity on the beach. Positives. Staff on check in were polite and helpful, as was the girl who arranged your tours. Good size rooms, lots of storage, good air conditioning, cleaned daily. Soap, coffee tea left in room daily. Had coffee machine but requested kettle in room which was there on arrival. Hotel is split in 2 halves, ocean side and road side. We were ocean side, did go into other half of hotel but it was deserted and the bar was closed. Mary who served at breakfast was a treasure, she went out off her way to serve us. Shame she was the only one who gave the service you would expect for paying quests. Beach was lovely with free sun beds, but you have to pay rental for umbrellas, which I did find odd, why would you not have this included in room rate, same as beds & beach towels. When asked management said this was money for the boy on the beach to earn something. Even though you paid in the bar.At $10 dollar a day, around 15 umbrella’s so $150 I think they were on a good rate of pay. Information. Happy hour in the bar, is 12 to 1pm and 5pm to 6pm everyday, we found that to be the busiest time off day in the bar. Deputy beer is a lighter beer and a bit cheaper than the banks beer. If you go out of hotel and walk up the rd opposite, follow the rd round, you come to the next rd over and can catch a white small bus to Carlisle bay, or bridge town it costs $3.50 each. Or you can catch a number 27 normal bus that will take you to sprightown. They have a food court in Worthing , but there is not a lot of different foods than anywhere else on the gap. My friend’s place & daddy’s had the best foods we found. At really good prices. Harbour lights beach day was just $10 a day for a bed & umbrella, they will bring you drinks & food to you , and a boat trip to see the turtles is available at extra cost all reasonable prices. Harbour lights show is a must, unlimited drinks, bbq foods, chicken, steak, prawns fish. Plus show. Great night out. Negatives Breakfast, was really slow, even though it was a set menu, after giving your order it was often an hour before you were served, they offered things on the menu which were not available. 2 of the staff were extremely rude, singing along to the radio why I was ordering, rolling there eyes when asked why there not available the breakfast I requested. And just the way they spoke to you . And it was not just me reading other reviews others also suffered from rudeness and it seems to be only from the breakfast staff. I was told as they were only a budget hotel is why you had to pay for umbrella’s , this is a necessity in a hot country so I think it was wrong having to pay $10 a day to enjoy the beach. Also when you leave you are expected to pay for housekeeping, this is optional but unless you query this they will not tell you. I had it taken off my bill as again I expect this to be covered by the room rate. Our water was off for 2 days, other than a note on the floor outside my room saying it was out off there control, there was no more information offered, no bottled water was put in our room for drinks or washing hands ect, no buckets off water to flush the toilets which after 2 days were unsanitary, we were offered to use a shower over the road at the other half of hotel , but you had to give an exact time to use them.Any complaints to management is dismissed, with you can go stay elsewhere, there staff are trainees, it’s out off our control. Would I stay here again. Definitely no I would not. For the money paid there are other hotels in the gap of similar prices. Read less

Loved Barbados Just returned from a stay in infinity hotel on the beach where my wife and I booked for b and b. The hotel is in two halves with one part across the road, I did visit and although there was a larger pool there was no one about and the bar was closed so I can’t comment on this part. The weather was great, lovely views from the restaurant and bar. Front desk & bartenders were nice, as was the young girl on the excursion desk. The room was clean, great air conditioning and cleaning staff. Tea and coffee in the room and small fridge, also a plugin mosquito device was a nice touch. There was only a sheet on the bed and as I feel the cold even in hot weather, I requested a cover but was only give a thin cotton spread, so if your a cold mortal or like the heaviness of a blanket be aware. Not much going on in the bar in the evenings, there was early entertainment Tuesday and Thursdays for a short amount of time but no real atmosphere. There are plenty of bars and hotels with great entertainment quite near. The pool is really just a dipping pool with no space to sit around as it’s practically on the walkway to the bar and restaurant. This though, would be ideal if you had little ones,as the sea is quite choppy with large waves breaking near the beach which can knock an adult over.Sun beds are free. Umbrella’s are not supplied. You can hire one for 10$ and you will need one as it’s extremely hot with no shade. I did hear many complaints concerning this charge. Water was cut off for two days during our stay, not able to flush loo, have a shower or cup of tea in your room. Management did stick a note in the door and although it’s appreciated this was beyond their control no further info was disseminated. Why a bucket of sea water couldn’t have been placed outside the bar toilets (they locked them) or bottled water supplied for a drink I can’t understand. It was quite disgusting to not be able to flush our room loo. Unfortunately, what also spoiled the experience is the breakfast. Although very nice choices and cooked exactly as you ask, when it was eventually served, there are two waitresses who are rude, surly and find it an effort to fulfill the basics, like putting cups/saucers or cutlery on the table, replenishing glasses, filling up the juice dispenser or hot water, getting the order wrong or forgetting things. Some mornings even though only a few tables were occupied it took an hour to get breakfast served. One Sunday morning we asked for cornflakes and were told there are none. Monday we were told there were, but only one bowl. Tuesday told there were none again, but Wednesday low and behold only one again…. Sunday breakfast is a buffet, basically what is on the menu during the week, but lukewarm and very little in the Bain-Maries. We were there at 9.15 am (breakfast finishes at 10.30 )so not sure what was left for guests who arrived later. But….if you get Mary what a delight. She is a credit to the hotel but was only on duty one morning. Table laid, bought our fruit juices, put tea and coffee pots on the table and even told us not to stack the plates as it was her job. She made having breakfast a pleasure. Such a shame it was only the one time. I would therefore not recommend B&B as there are many places outside where food and service is excellent. We did try to get a meeting with management during our stay to discuss both the water issue and the service and attitude of staff experienced at breakfast. It was though, only the day before we were leaving this was achieved this I believe, was only because I left my WhatsApp number at reception and asked staff to let me know when I could meet with the GM. The response from the General Manager, Renee Coppin was exactly as expected, probably quoted from the general managers “how to handle complaints” handbook manual advice us that it was a “budget” hotel, which I must admit I was unaware of and the staff were trainees. I did submit feedback about my complaints directly to hotel staff, allowing the hotel to proactively resolve any issues before they escalated and lead to a negative public review. Just out of curiosity I checked TripAdvisor,Booking.com and Expedia and found the same negative concerns dating back to January. All expressing experiences of bad service, rudeness and bad attitude of breakfast staff with the same management response that they were trainees and things would improve quickly. So just lip service. It does not appear to me, time has been given to really listen to what customers have to say and use their feedback to make improvements to services. It does seem like management is sadly lacking in ensuring that staff have the necessary hospitality skills which I believe should be the knowledge to provide excellent customer service, development of inter personal skills and to treat all customers with respect. Kissing your teeth at a customer is not acceptable. Read less

Whilst we were here we got married at needhams point and I believe it was Renee who saw us just after and asked us about it. Anyway the next day we came back to balloons and wine in the room, lovely touch and made us smile. We were bed and breakfast and had either full english or pancakes every morning and these were always good. If i could request one change that would be the music at breakfast, its a little powerful and deep at times! Cocktails were good, lunch was good and the beach was wonderful. Thank you for making our trip fab!! Read less

3.5 *** Just had a weeks stay here. We have had a lovely stay. The rooms are basic and looking a little tired, but clean. We had an Oceanside room on the second floor, sometimes the outside noise was a bit much in an evening but it didn't stop us sleeping. However if you're a light sleeper a landside room might be better. We were on the bed and breakfast plan. Nice breakfast but service was quite slow at times - most days we only ordered toast/fruit and could take 30 mins to arrive which is shocking when you've not ordered much! We didn't eat at the restaurant for any other meals, for lunch we went to sand dollar cafe or daddy's right next door - cheap and beautiful food. Beach right outside the hotel stunning of course, not really sure why it's 10 BBD to use a parasol though! We used the pool area on the land side. It's lovely but I think more could be done to keep it clean. There was always leaves and debris in the pool. Didn't bother me too much, but to compare to the Time out hotel where we stayed 2 years ago, there there was always someone cleaning around the pool area preventing this. Sun beds were comfortable. Would we stay here again? Definitely if the price was right. We paid £500pp for 1 week bed and breakfast via booking.com. Worth it for the location, but wouldn't want to pay more. However if the time out hotel was the same price or only a small amount more I would prefer to stay there as it is just a bit nicer! Read less
