This place is excellent Rooms are very spacious with a huge bathroom. Loved the secluded deck and the plunge pool looking out over the river. The meals are excellent and the bar fridge is a highlight. Now to the included safari tours. Well what a highlight. An experience not to be missed.

Recently stayed at the Imbali Safari lodge for a few nights as part of tour. The lodges were spacious and clean with a plunge pool on the wooden terrace being a bonus. Food was of a really good standard and the service and staff were attentive and helpful. Some dining took place in the outside "Boma" which was a nice change from the dining area which overlooked the wildlife watering point on the other side of the river bed, with good views of the wildlife from the terrace decking. It also provided a very good base for the jeep trips into the reserve with friendly and knowledgeable driver/guides. There was a small selection of items on offer for sale with the main shop being located at the main entrance gates to the reserve. Would definitely recommend a stay. Read less

We stayed at the Imbali Safari Lodge at the end of an already incredible trip but this place was definitely the cherry on top and 9 months later I still get all the amazing feels reliving our experience. We walked into the reception to check in and we were left completely speechless, across from the main lodge with the reception, pool area and restaurant was the watering hole and our first glimpse of wild elephants... you really cannot beat that welcome!! We checked into our gorgeous lodge rather quickly so we could join the afternoon game drive and again we were not disappointed, our ranger Eddie was so knowledgable, fun and dedicated to giving us the experience we all wanted. We loved the lodges which came with private pools (I was in the pool and elephants walked past on the other side of the river bank.. amazing!!), the game drives, the ranges and the food. We 100% recommend the Imbali Lodge to all and would love to return in the future! Read less
