I wouldn’t return here as there’s so many better hotels which would offer more facilities but it serves its purpose and nothing bad just needs updating. Read less

I had the pleasure of staying at The Standard Highline New York for 2 lovely nights. The ambiance of the hotel is upscale. The service there is undeniably top notch and each staff member we came in contact with was excellent. Most memorable was Kay the Guest Experience Manager.

Hotel clean but dated. Room had an adjoining door to next door and that’s where the problems started. The people next door were from Liverpool and were very loud and talked constantly, unfortunately we could hear every word. Trying to sleep was a nightmare, if the hotel invested in a bit of soundproofing this would be great.

I always take my kettle if I am not sure. I didn't like the idea of going down to a machine and queue for it otherwise. Staff were friendly enough. I didn't like the facilities charge per night, about $22. I didn't book the hotel so I didn't know until check out. From what I understand this is for wifi, pool and gym. the latter two I didn't use. I have stayed in New York before and do not remember paying this fee. So I would do your homework before booking. Read less
