Fantastic hotel. Rooms are good size, something you don’t find in NYC. Close to many restaurants located on 9th Ave. 10-15 min walk to Times Square. Pool is heated which made the swimming for the kids very pleasant.

We visited this hotel on a Thursday in February - stayed here primarily for the pool since my kids were hoping to swim. Pool is a nice size on the top floor - Unfortunately, there was a private lesson going on and everyone else had to stay on 1 side of the pool so that the instructor and his student had half of the pool (lengthwise), which really limited the guests to enjoying the pool. My kids were so turned off and annoyed they just got out and refused to go back in. Pool hours are already limited (opens up at 5pm) and then they didn't even get full use of the pool because of the lesson. Seemed pretty greedy of the hotel to book private lessons during guest time. The room we had was a suite with 2 beds & pullout sofa in the other room. Very spacious, even for 2 adults and 4 kids. Sofa bed was awful and even the kids couldn't sleep on it - so it was 3 in a bed, thankfully they were king size beds. Only 1 bathroom was rough, but it was 1 night and doable. Location - a bit sketchy at night and nothing to do. These were included in the price of the room - wifi for 3 devices, bottle of water per guest, coffee "bar" in the morning (2 keurigs). Parking is attached if you need it, so very convenient if driving. Otherwise, grabbing a cab was easy. Hotel seemed clean and some of the staff friendly (bell hops were very nice). Receptionists and concierge a bit strange and not overly friendly. No plans to stay here again - better off closer to get a hotel without a pool and be closer to the action. Read less

The hotel is ideally located for Time square and Broadway with close links to various transport links. Surrounding neighbourhood's we felt save during the night and day. The hotel does not have a restaurant but room service can be ordered via local deli. Additionally food outlets are located across the road. The hotel does offer WIFI in the rooms. Plesse bare in mind the addition tax you have to pay upon check out. Approx $22 a day All rooms have a small fridge and my advice is bring your own travel kettle Read less

Location is decent for navigating the City for the price. The parking is ideal at ten dollars for the night if you are staying at the hotel, a great deal. But then, the room was so hot it was difficult to sleep. No matter what we did the temperature remained above 75 degrees. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was due to the indoor pool. The kids were super excited to enjoy the pool in February. Unfortunately, the pool was closed without any notice due to contaminated water; the pool was cloudy, most likely due to improper maintenance from what I could gather. I figured perhaps I could have a conversation with the hotel representative at checkout and maybe get a few bucks taken off the stay for our inconvenience and uncomfortable night. When I mentioned the issues listed above to the woman at the checkout, she tried to explain to me that the reason the room was so hot was because it was cold outside yesterday, not sure how these two issues related, but it showed me that they know about the issue and don't care that much. In terms of the pool, she said she had no idea it was closed and offered no apology or explanation. She seemed to really care less about my complaints and at one point in the conversation told me she "is just a clerk". I asked to speak with the manager and she advised that the manager would not be in until 10 am, but she would leave a note for the manager to contact me regarding my concerns. 3 later and I have yet to hear back from the manager.
