The Three Boutique Hotel

Cape Town, South Africa

The hotel

A more intimate way to experience the captivating city of Cape Town, The Three Boutique Hotel has a mere 18 suites, giving you the feeling you're staying in a private home with friends. And these are friends with a pretty enviable address, just a stroll from leafy Oranjezicht's popular bars and restaurants, and three minutes' walk from The Gardens Shopping Centre. An old manor house dating back to the 1770s, this National Monument building mixes original features (like the rooftop deck's views across Cape Town to Table Mountain, Lion's Head, and Devil's Peak) with modern indulgences like a bijou plunge pool, an honesty bar, and a Cape Malay dining menu.

With no DSTV or water in the room it wasnt the luxury place it advertised itself but is a clean and decent room There are a few homeless people wandering about nearby streets late in the evening and we were advised to take ubers to the restaurant round the corner . In summary nice, clean and friendly but not as lovely as the websites and photos portray Read less

This is a beautifully furbished colonial style hotel. All the staff are very friendly and helpful and only too willing to book excursions for you. Their recommendations are also worth listening to. The breakfast is great, I must admit, I didn't know whether to eat it or frame it, it looked that good. Highly recommended

Our son and grandchildren live in Capetown so we visit fairly frequently and have stayed in many hotels. Three Boutiques excelled itself in looking after us. The rooms( we stayed twice) were large and spacious. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The location was perfect ( for us) We will stay again

We arrived here after a long overnight flight on a lovely, sunny Spring morning. After fulfilling the checking - in necessities, we were shown around this very comfortable and characterful hotel. Our jaded spirits immediately lifted when we were taken up to the roof terrace and saw the spectacular view of Table Mountain against a backdrop of a clear blue sky - magical! We had a studio room on the ground floor which was very commodious and comfortable. This room and comes with basic facilities if you choose to self cater very simply. We prepared for yourselves a cold supper on two nights after having eaten our main meal lunchtime. Our car was securely parked on the forecourt outside our room. On the first night we chose to eat in the dining room having earlier chosen from a limited, but perfectly acceptable menu. We chose well and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. However, the hotel, in our opinion, has a limited wine list. In the morning we enjoyed an excellent breakfast served by attentive and very delightful staff. Indeed all of the staff of the hotel were great. A great bonus of the hotel is that there is a shopping precinct very near with a range of shops and a good Pick `n Pay and a Woolworths Food, too. We do not like large hotels and the Three Boutique Hotel suited us perfectly and we would not hesitate to make a return visit. It comes well recommended. Read less
