The Three Boutique Hotel

Cape Town, South Africa

The hotel

A more intimate way to experience the captivating city of Cape Town, The Three Boutique Hotel has a mere 18 suites, giving you the feeling you're staying in a private home with friends. And these are friends with a pretty enviable address, just a stroll from leafy Oranjezicht's popular bars and restaurants, and three minutes' walk from The Gardens Shopping Centre. An old manor house dating back to the 1770s, this National Monument building mixes original features (like the rooftop deck's views across Cape Town to Table Mountain, Lion's Head, and Devil's Peak) with modern indulgences like a bijou plunge pool, an honesty bar, and a Cape Malay dining menu.

I enjoyed the serene atmosphere, it is so peaceful. I needed a breakaway from the hussle and bussle of life. If been given the chance financially, I go back there anytime. Just wish i could have extended my stay.

Stay here! After 700+ nights in hotels cycling around the world the Three Boutique is one of my favorites—you can’t and won’t go wrong by staying here. Let me count the ways: The people—to a one, all warm, lovely, helpful, gracious people—from the lovely ladies making excellent breakfasts, to the front desk staff. The setting—a small, historic hotel in interesting Oranjezicht on a quiet cul-de-sac a pleasant walk through the park to the CBD. The rooms—I stayed in several over the course of a couple weeks cycling around the cape and all were super clean, super comfortable and all were inviting and relaxing places to rest one’s head. The rooftop deck—dreamy! Serene and beautiful views overlooking Table Mountain as one watched the sunrises and sunsets and endless play of clouds and sky on the mountains. Just fantastic. Stay here! Thanks for a wonderful stay Ashlin, Leoni and Pieter and all the lovely staff who made for a wonderful stay in beautiful Capetown. Pedalling on in spectacular South Africa. Michael Himes Read less
