Th single pod with private bathroom is ideal for the budget-minded solo traveler. Small, comfortable, clean & bright, with windows that open! Room is very tiny but has everything you need for a good night's rest. Well located. If you want comfort but don't need lots of space, Pod 51 is a good value.

We stayed here for 4 nights in February, we arrived at approximately 2pm and our room was ready. We’d had our resort fee included in our booking so we had to show proof of this on arrival. They ask for a credit card on arrival for deposit. We stayed on the 10th floor and didn’t have a great view and the room was small with a see through shower, and the sink was in the actual room, a clothes rail and double bed. The safe was also included which was great! Obviously we didn’t mind the small room as we had one with the bathroom included as I know some of them have card entry for shared bathroom. I’m just stating about the small room just in case people were expecting more, but it didn’t bother us at all as we were not there for the room. It was around a 25 minute walk to Times Square so we went here twice a day as it was so close, St Patricks Cathedral around a 15 minute walk. Very nice bagel shop close by. We caught the subway to and from the airport and found this very easy to use. Great stay and would happily stay here again if we came back to New York. Thankyou! Read less

I booked pod51 because when I saw the photo there was a whole body mirror in the room and there was also a little sofa. We were so shocked when we arrived in our room because the room was so tiny. It seems like the bed is good only for one person and my husband is tall and big. We have 4 luggages and it’s even more difficult to display our stuff. At least you should provide a whole body mirror for your guests because I presumed all guests are tourists people. It is so difficult when we can’t even check ourselves in the mirror. And also, booking.com should be real in publishing photos. It was so misleading. Over all we’re not happy! And I cannot recommend this to all of my friends! Read less

Despite the kindness and helpfulness of the the service, the room was very little, noisy (from others and from air conditionning, and above all not clean. The location of this hotel is excellent though but price still high for the poor quality of rooms.

This place was a nice find, in between a hostel and hotel. I wanted clean, good location, and affordable. I got exactly that. No frills but it did have a nice rooftop deck and a casual bar/restaurant next door. Shared restrooms/showers were easily accessible, clean, and available but a little cramped. Overall, it was exactly as promised.
