Nightmare hotel. Booked a king suite city view room with booking.com. spacious and visually appealing. No city view. Photo provided Room 303 should be out of service. See list Windows - The noise from the traffic woke us from 0745 in the morning and continued all day . At night the noise from surrounding bars disturbed us past midnight. The windows offered no sound proof. Yellow water - the bath water ran yellow. Shower - The shower was broken and dribbled from the shower hose. The majority of water ran down the wall leaking from the pipes. This was reported and not fixed. Towels - No towels in room on arrival . No coffee making facilities. Provided on request. Coffee/milk not topped up . Charging facilities and bedside plugs out of order both sides of the bed. Telephoning reception took so long it was faster to go down in the lift. Call on hold for minutes. Do not go off photos. The hotel looks very nice but it's in need of maintenance. Read less

Please if you have a plan to stay in New York please stay away from these people they will get your money for nothing. This is not a hotel to stay unless you want to waste money. The simple TV is not working in the room. After spending $400 for a night. This was ridiculous anyway

Best part of this hotel is Jose. He was so helpful with all my luggage and boxes. He gave me lots of tips for getting around and was so friendly and gentlemanly. The bad: - No easy way to load in and out. There are some big black suvs often in the way. Some guy was sleeping in his and hogging up the "designated" hotel pick up spot. I went around the block 2 times just trying to look for a place to park the car to unload. - No storage space. They couldn't even hold three boxes for me and instead I had to take it to the room. - Understaffed at night. The heater in our room didn't work at all and it took many phone calls before someone even picked up the phone at the front desk. The technician reset the heater and when it didn't work, he had to open up the panel to find out the heater wasn't on at all because it was turned off from the inside. Seems like a weird thing to turn off in late November. - They do offer slippers here but definitely cheap and not plush for a hotel of this caliber. The good: - Rooms are spacious. Definitely on the bigger side for hotels in Manhattan. - We had a north facing room so the view was gorgeous. - Bathroom was spacious, really liked the ledge to sit on though the frosted glass panel into the sleeping area was an interesting choice - Staff was friendly and personable but Jose was the best of them all. Outstanding hotel for a rational price. Much better than most famous chains. Clean rooms, well equipped, friendly staff. Location is not perfect, but easy walk to most places. Only suggestion is to add a coffee machine to the rooms.

Even though there was construction across the street in the front which is loud at times and the usual sirens we slept in comfort . The staff was fun to interact with and the housekeeping over 5 days was impeccable.Cant forget the views from the rooftop lounge !
