When we arrived, our room was 84 degrees and remained at 84 for the next two days. We were told to leave our windows open... in the middle of New York City. Very poor service and we weren’t the only ones complaining.

Was a little unhappy when I booked a family Room with 2 queen beds, just to have 2 full beds. There’s no microwave in the room or coffee pot. There’s no vending machine in building. Location was good.

This hotel was not worth it at all, yes very good price okay but when you get there, you have to pay a 150 deposit fee that it not included into the room. There was no AC the room was literally 93 degrees and they told us that there was no solution and we just had to open the windows that was bolted into the wall so it could come up more then two inches so there was no air. The maintainer guy was so nice but there was only one man and about 12 floors with no ac so god bless him. The rooms were tiny and don’t even get me started on the shower. There was no hot water and when there was the shower would completely turn off and then spring out burn hot water. They told us that we need to run the water for a while and we did, nothing changed. It was a terrible weekend. There was a sensor light by the foot of my bed and every time I moved in my sleep the light would turn on, got no sleep. The sheets were stained and had to get fresh ones. The stay was terrible would never go back probably. Read less

My husband and I had a paid reservation at the tryp hotel. On Saturday for a one year anniversary. We are both first-year School teachers so we don't make a lot of money and we're looking forward to spending time in the city for anniversary. We drove 75 miles to the hotel when we got there the hotel said their computer system had no record or paid reservation. We gave him the documentation along with the confirmation but they said since they can't see it on their system it was not valid. My husband was on the phone with corporate for an hour and corporate was trying to speak to the hotel manager who would not talk to them. I was devastated and crying. We had to drive the 75 miles back home after paying for parking in the city. I'm still crying today Read less
