I've heard about this hotel through several articles and recommended through people who've stayed here, and did it live up to the hype. I had a great view looking into Times Square and coming back towards the park. The room itself could be considered "small" but I thought it was right for me for 3 nights as I was pretty much on the go.

As an amateur photographer, I always look forward to my annual stay at the Residence Inn NY and the awesome and breathtaking views from my room. The check in was a breeze and I was delighted when David remembered me and he also mentioned that I had stayed in one of the Central Park view suites the former year. I had booked a City View room this year and David upgraded me to a magnificent double room facing the Hudson River, a partial view of Central Park and plenty of drawers. During my one week stay he also went above and beyond to comply with my requests. The staff is all extremely professional and friendly. The rooms are clean and well appointed and the bed is very comfy. Location is excellent and it’s nice to have a complimentary breakfast. Read less

I stayed here for two nights. The room was small but comfortable and well appointed. I had a room on the 51st floor with a great view. The kitchen was nice and the breakfast decent. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. It was walkable to Lincoln Center and Broadway shows as well as museums. Highly recommend.

My wife and I stayed for 5 nights including a weekend on business. Location is great for broadway, Central Park, Shopping and transport. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Room was clean. No issues or problems to report. Breakfast is basic/simple but wouldn't expect too much more for a complimentary service.

First let me say that the service here has been impeccable, and the staff is very polite. I do recommend staying here. My only complaint is the fact that since this is a Residence Inn, an extended stay, the room is lacking storage to be considered an extended stay. No draws to put clothing, the wardrobe has the safe in the center so you can't really store much on the lower portion. For this to be an extended stay its poorly designed. The kitchenette has one outlet to put the provided hotplate, but theres isnt real space for the cooktop to sit. If you're an overpacker, good luck finding a place to put your things. Even my suitcase doesn't have a real place to go. Would I stay here again? Yes I would. Also, keep in mind that the higher up you are, the longer the elevator wait will be in the morning, but it's not a deal breaker. I did wait 5 minutes for the elevator at one point and in the moment it was frustrating, but I would still ask for a room on the higher floors even with the wait time, views are too nice to not accept the elevator wait times. - Petty complaint - breakfast should go until 10am.
