Bonvoy Titanium Elite. Very lovely welcome by the helpful front desk staff. Decent continental breakfast downstairs isn’t bad. Room was on the very top floor (65). The building sways a bit as it’s a skyscraper and there is definitely noise at that level. The room shades also don’t really get the room as dark as you’d hope for. Some noise too. Not… Read more

Considering the location and the price, this hotel has to be rated fairly. It can’t compete with the Marriott Marquis a couple of meters down the street, but it is nice. Has good rooms and an amazing view. The breakfast is typical American, but it was free for me, so no complaints. I will definitely come back here.

And when you check in at the front desk, this group (Alla) made the extra effort to ensure you have all the information needed to get you settled in your room comfortably. They are just part of the reasons why I choose to stay at the Residence Inn/Courtyard Central Park, every time I am in NYC. Of course, the sales coordinator, Clara Cruz made it easier for me to get my rooms and she will go the extra mile to make my stay extra special. Thank you Read less

Short walk to Central Park in on direction, short walk to Times Square in the other. There are several subways stops nearby so it was never hard finding a route - but we really only needed to use it when we went downtown (9/11 museum, Battery Park for Statue of Liberty tour). It was also only a 20 minute lovely walk through Central Park to/from the Met. The room itself was nice. For NY standards, it was probably considered large...but it was still much smaller than a normal hotel room in any other city. So adjust your expectations accordingly :) It was really great to have the free breakfast available every morning. The food was so-so. Eggs, turkey sausage, breakfast potatoes, toast, bagels, cereal, deli meats/cheeses, pastries, fruit, coffee, water, juice. The only thing that seemed to change each day was the pastry selection, other than that it was pretty much consistent. Again, not a culinary experience, but it was helpful not to have to go find a breakfast place each morning. The dining room was also very pretty. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel! I was at the residence inn by mariot on holiday about three weeks ago. My stay in New York City was very nice just like the hotel. The only thing to criticize is the cleanliness of the tables at breakfast. On the day of departure we cleaned up our hotel room and went to the reception with all our things and asked the employees to put our suitcases and bags on the side, because we still had about 5 hours until our flight back home flew off. We explored the wonderful city of New York in the last 3 hours we had left. When we came back our taxi was ready to take us to the airport. We packed our luggage in the trunk and got in. After about ten minutes I noticed that my headphones were no longer in the bag I put them in four hours before. Arriving at the airport I immediately called the hotel and reported my problem that my headphones were no longer there. They immediately asked for my e-mail and I gave them a description of my headphones. When I arrived home I received an email from the hotel with a message that my headphones had been found. I was happy and asked them to send it to me. They sent me a link to the website Ileftmystuff.com. I filled out the forms on the website. When I finished, the price for getting my headphones back was $160. This price is much too high and I wrote it to the hotel. I asked the hotel to send me the headphones via UPS, which is between $20 and $30. The hotel agreed and asked for my exact address and phone number. I sent them my exact address and phone number and looked forward to having my headphones back. But I didn't get any feedback about my headphones for about three weeks. Read less
