One of my favorite hotels in NYC. The location was perfect -- close to my conference location as well as so many iconic New York locations. The Ed Sullivan Theater (where The Late Night Show is taped) is literally right around the corner. Central Park is a comfortable walk away -- it's nice to be in the heart of the city, but still so close to such a nice urban getaway. The check-in lines can be long during peak hours, but the staff manages things well. Daniel is not only an impressive multi-tasker; he is friendly and efficient as well. The gym on the 35th floor is solid, and the complimentary hot breakfast on weekends is a nice bonus. 5 stars across the board! Read less

Beautiful suite on the 59th floor with breathtaking views of the City! In between Times Square and Central Park and a view of the Hudson River not too far away. Employees are very helpful and polite. Comfortable bedding. So relaxing it’s hard to leave.

From your 60-something floor room, you can see Times Square, downtown and NJ. Pay a little more and you get to see Central Park. Studios are miniature compared to Residence Inns on the road; however, NYC is a bit more contemporary and less formica-prone. You get a microwave not a stove, but who is going to cook here with 1,000 restaurants in walking distance? The breakfast buffet is standard Residence Inn, and very crowded. Be there at least 15 minutes before closing. The bar floor has a lot of seating and places to work with your laptop. The lobby is shared with Courtyard by Marriott which is on the lower floors. Visited NY with a friend in March. This hotel is in a great location; easy walking distance to restaurants and major art museums. Can get very heavy traffic in front of hotel so catch cabs on the corner.
