Amazing view on Manhattan, subway 6-10 minutes walk Staff was friendly. Room was modern and clean. Really appreciated the comfortable rainshower. One thing that could be better: you can’t lock the bathroom door, and the door is not completely closed off from the hotel room.

The rooftop area and skyline views were nice, however the rooftop was closed during the day. Since we stayed during the US Open tennis tournament, our room was pretty expensive. Perhaps at different times it can be more worthwhile. We felt the pictures misrepresented the quality of the hotel. Note the closest subway station is 10-12 mins walk,… Read more

I guess it all depends on what you are looking for but if you want a beautiful view of Manhattan from the 8th floor at a reasonable rate, this is your hotel! There are amenities missing (no indoor or outdoor pool) but the free coffee is 24 hours and delish. LIC (Long Island City) is a great area to do a bike rental and if you set out before Noon there is hardly any traffic (even on a Saturday). There is a beautiful park right on the waterfront, 5 minute drive from the hotel. The free shuttle (while free) is annoying! You have to be ready and waiting for the shuttle ON THE HOUR or they will leave you, even if you sign up. I personally think they should have at least a 5 minute wait period. We were 4 minutes late and had to wait another hour or take an Uber. Go to their website and sign up for their emails! They have "off weekend" rates that are incredible for being so close to Manhattan. Read less

Great hotel with an incredible view of Manhattan and the “Queensbridge” Good beds , clean bathrooms and a perfect shuttle to Manhattan Metro Station on 59th street. Friendly personnel , breakfast is good but not very much choice.
